I was wondering if there were people out there sick of the isk undercut manufacturers and so on out there. Manufactureing is an aquired taste and you know it's hard to manage such things especially the cheaky persion who's set up in the same station as you.
I was propousing that a union be set up so that traders and manufactures have a channel. Was wondering if we could help each other out and so on. for example, thows in the union with high skills could ban togeather to force out the new but cheack 1 isk manufacturers.
Other things can be done like cross information, you might not be able to manufacture something that another person can. This would mean that people across the eve universe would not only benifit from haveing a suppler in hand. but we acn insure that we all get a high as possible sale as possible.
The current methods I am useing because of the lv of my skills are to only make 1 isk profit to infurate the competision into leaving. Also the fact that production effiecent being at lv 5 and my refineing being as it is. It means even if I did make 20% profit I would still be makeing below the price they manufacture at. How ever at the isk I am makeing now I am displeased. Granted people in local kinda tank me but I am still displeased. Plz respond to this accordingly. I will only take manufactures opinions to seriously as thows that do not know of it or skimed it don't know how time consuming and how much reseach some of us put into it.
Thank you for you time.

A nice idea in theory, but what would it really add to my business? What is to stop me joining your cartel and promplty undercutting all your rrp's with my secret sales char, (if I had one that is).
Union? I can't see how it would work. Trade network? A great idea but most of us have this already.

If you are not pleased with the profit you are making, then perhaps you should find a new location to sell your items.
Price-fixing Unions have been tried in the past, and have all failed. They will only work if EVERYONE agrees to the prices, and that will never happen.

Union, cartel etc call it what you want it's always bad for business. This is a market like in real world, if the stuff you are making is hard to sell find another product and sell it instead.
I've got 400MM Steel Plates II BPO, I'm selling one of those each weeks which makes the BPO kinda useless, and the price is low, but I've found other products where I can sell LOTS and also have a margin of about 70% and people are still buying because what I'm selling is hard to find.
So stop selling tier 3 cruisers and bs and find other t1 items that people need and don't spawn from rats in abundance.
Make a big stock, move it in an indy and sell it in all big empire regions to see where you can make the most buck.
Trading isn't easy it's an art.

I play EVE economic PvP for the reason there's no unions or price-fixing, markets are free. The last thing I want to join is such a union which tries to commit such atrocities.
By all means do so, I'll be another one to join with an alt and undercut your communist "fixed" prices, making a killing.

My manufacturer isnt getting undercut, but he's only doing T1 Ammunition, heh. I dont see how you can really battle the undercutters. Somebody said in another thread that the undercutters tend not to be in volume and Id agree with this. The real manufacturers & traders have spreadsheets and whatnot of their pricing. It is simply not worth their time (imo) to manually go through and modify their orders. Either their orders were already made up with a "best price" and a "fastest price" or they werent. If someone came along and undercutted "best price" you should switch to "fastest" and leave it. At the very least, you are trashing their profits as well. Just hope you can outlast em ^^
