Hello Dose anyone know the stacking formula for tracking disruptors? I am considering using 3 of those and would like to know if i'm wasting a slot with the third (i want as much disruption cose my tank will be paper thin). Thnx ... A wise man never plays TAG with a RINO |

stacking formula is the same for everything else. generally fitting up to 3 of something is worthwhile, the 4th module only gives 5% of what it should, and past that it's really not worth it.

well, maybe i dont understand how it goes, but i believe some modules dont have stacking formulas. i mean, i can fit 5 heavy launchers on a ferox without stacking issues.
i think the problem is not on the disruptors, but on the counter, i mean, on the tracking computer and sensor boosters. i someone is using 2 of use, then you can fit as many disruptors as you want, but you wont get much out of it
so i think that if you can not effectively disrupt someone with 2 disruptors is because he is fitting a counter, and then you wont be able to disrupt him even with 5 disruptors. but i am probably wrong

the stacking formula is for modules that give bonuses/penalties to other ships and modules, not for things like afterburners, guns, nos and missile launchers. To my knowledge, these are all the things effected by the stacking formula:
1) Targeting range 2) Targeting resolution (speed) 3) Optimal Range 4) Tracking 5) Shield Boost Bonus 6) Shield and Armour Hardeners (different stack for each resistance)

this problem has now been fixed, and the electronic warfare modules are once again more powerful than their counters.
