Worst case scenario, set you 7-hour skills right before you leave home, and eat the 1 or 2 hour loss near the end of the work day. That, or train them while you sleep. Get a long skill (5 days or so) that you are working on, and just before you go to bed, set a 7-hour skill. When you wake up, change it back to the 5-day, and keep training.
This will let you get your 7-hour ones out of the way, and may even give you a level 5 skill or two out of it! Plus, you never have to worry about losing hours of training time.
I personally have several skills at various stages of being trained, due to the work/real life issues that I deal with.

Let your employer find out and warn or ban you from work. This solves your problem with having to work when a skill finishes. --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |

This once again shows it's an URGENT thing to implement at least a queue of two skills!
It's NOT possible to train skills at the duration of about 5 - 11 hours, except for people without a job or on weekends.
This needs to be solved - CCP please do anything about it.

Or *gasp* come home from work, train your 7 hour skill for 4 hours before bed, then switch back to a long skill. The next day, come home and finish the last 3 hours on it. Omg, what an idea.
Brains, you must have some, try using it :P ----------

Exactly, who says you have to finish a skill in one shot. Switching your skill is just plain old strategy.

I save the 7 hourish skills for when I'm sleeping, and the long ones for my work day. I don't have much time for the really short ones though. Thankfully (or maybe not so, heh), I seem to be running out of those.

Personally I prefer having a single skill, login only system to eve. Due to work tying me up 4 days a week, 16 hours a day, it means that I can train those level 5 skills that I normally wouldnt be arsed training.
It isnt as painful to train level 5's when you arent sitting there watching the counter click.
And about VNC, use Ultra VNC, you dont need the client installed at your workplace. I work for an ISP, so security is a very big factor. We arent allowed to load any .exe, .com, .bat files at all (actually secured). In order to counter this, set up your server as per normal on your home pc using Ultra VNC.
Then, when you get to work, type as follows in your designated internet program:
http://192.168.23.231:5800
^^^ the 192 part being your IP address. 5800 is the port that you have selected to use from your home computer. Make sure your home computer has a password on the server, and upon loading the above site (with your own information), a password box will enter, allowing you to run a remote desktop from your home computer.
Hope this helps! ------------------------------------------ Dreadnought Production INC is recruiting Join DPI Channel Or Visit (IGB) http://www.mmorpg-online.net/intro.html |

I work most of the day, then go to school. This means that I have alot of lvl IV's trained and very little lvl II's if you know what I mean. I rarely get 2-5hrs in front of my or even around my computer.
I read a thread a while back about getting eve to run on a flash drive. I have a 1gb flash drive and sit infront of a rather nice computer at school. Can someone direct me to the thread about playing EVE at work/school through the use of a flash drive?
School system specs 3.0Ghz P4 1 gig RAM Onboard Video Card 128mb Max Graphics Mem
Thanks in advance
