could someone please explain issues with war dec mechanism as im confused.
Someone shot at my alt in high sec.
I decided to form a corp and war dec them which I did approx. 36 hrs ago.
I log in this am to find a notification from 3pm yesterday advising they had surrendered at 3pm. What is more confusing is they was has finished already - less than 19 hours from the notification.
What is point of paying 50mil for a war dec if they can surrender before the war is active ? |

you have to accept the surrender first, otherwise its buisness as usual 
Its not an exploit, if the game lets you do it... |

didn't accept anything. didnt speak to anyone. had not logged since declared war 36 hours ago until this morning. logged into this mail:-

removed corp names.
mail was sent at 14:42 yesterday. was had already finished when I logged in at 9am this morning. |

hehe, yea things like happen.
nothing you can really do about it, except keep deccing them, thats what i do in situations like that :)

Wardec rules are stupid. Unless you dec a corp with hisec POS or POCO they can just drop corp, close, and reform. Why more corps don't do this is a mystery to me. One I aim to solve through more wardecs.

OP: I give you 2/10 for your scaremails: for mentioning how much ISK you have and that I should biomass myself. I dearly missed the mentioning of your countless scary friends in nullsec though. Someone whose alts date back to 2003 must have at least some, even if they're just nullbears, no? :sadface: Oh, and one bonus point for trying to gank me several times. As you didn't succeed I have to subtract 0,5. So, all in all it's 2.5/10.
As compensation for your ISK loss and because I'm feeling terribly bad about what happened and because you already have enough ISK anyway, I've just donated 50 mil to Cannibal Kane instead, in case he runs out of L'Oreal shampoo.

To Kimmi's credit, the person being quoted has a very disorganized and tedious way of posting. First the poster uses numerals/fractions to express the relevant numbers, then switches to words. It's an incorrect way of writing and even I had missed that bonus point at first, only realizing it upon reading this post.
