I had this idea for a long time now, and I suspect everyone who touched E-War drones had the same idea at least once.
Having T2 E-War drones will provide some significant boost to the capabilities of any drone boat, or even other kinds of ships to help in the role of e-war.
As of now, the only kind of e-war drones widely used is the ECM drones. Adding T2 varients for e-war drones should open up some interesting options for players to take when choosing e-war drones for their ships.
Yes, I understand some say it's too difficult to counter ECM drones. For solo PvPers it may be, but for fleets I think it's not too big of an issue, as other fleet members can take on those drones.
In any case, I think E-War drones having T2 varients just like any other counterparts, is a neccecity.
Please give me your ideas on this below :) |

Electronic warfare and combat utility drones are balancer around not having a t2 variant. They are pretty strong as they are.
Just an example from last summer alliance tournament, where one of the teams dropped cap neutralizing drones and alpha neuted the logistics of their enemy.
Or another example of the aforementioned jammer drones. From my experience, even small ones can jam cruiser sized ships pretty consistently. |

since advanced drone interfacing is not providing additional drones anymore also gallente bs to a domi ect, all ewar drones got nerfed at this point cause nothing is goind to increase their effect.
Also no one is using heavy ewar drones.
The KI of web drones as a corpmate described: "its like commanding an alzheimer patient to battle"
i would like to see T2 ewar drones with same ewar strength but higher HP, speed and resistance profile of a T2 drone.
But to give CCP a way to find a disspointing solution: ewar sentries could be awesome, non moving insta ewar not blockable by ewar and stupidly high range and tracking |
