MrPops	Posted - 2006.04.06 20:22:00 - [1] No, this is not a complaint about HAC prices, 0.0, PVPer's, griefers, macro mining, blah blah blah. I decided to stop by and say hello to everyone who still logs into the EVE, after many years, and still enjoys the game as if it was released yesterday. Later this year, some friends, corp mates and others, will have the pleasure of celebrating 4 years around the EVE universe. It's amazing how we still have the same excitement and urgency to accomplish ingame goals as we had in the first beta days and after retail. The game keeps us coming back day after day, year after year no matter how many distractions come about. One of the things I like the most is knowing that after all this time, I can still log and see the same familiar faces. The trust and friendship developed after all this time is priceless. BTW, recently I found a christmas card sent by CCP signed by Pam and the devs. How much do you think that's worth in ISKs now?

Dagny	Posted - 2006.04.06 20:50:00 - [4] Yeah i have a few of those cards, and some concept art, as well as some "signed" gold CDs (that surprisingly were empty, or not quite surprisingly :P) Once in EVE, you'll always return. --- This is my signature, there are many like it, but this one is mine.

My little boy has grown up next to EvE - him being 3 last Jan. I've met a lot of good people in this game, some have become RL friends too. ******* Here's to another few years of EvE - long may it run!

You can be very effective as a specialised n00b against a generalistic EVE veteran. The new guys should take in to account that us "old farts" (respect to ancient corp name implied) that we have INVESTED the time to get the skill base we have.
