lok at you end i leave for one day
okok
It could have worked out, hell we could have even rebuilded but most of the oldschool players werent interested or on enough to lead, and we cant let some unknown run biomass. mm i guess i might start looking for a corp
It was good while it lasted, very good at the start, but its a dream we cant live up to any more, at least not without more of the old names... which reminds me ... where the hell is my hupa :<

Good luck guys.
It was the politics of November-December 2003 played out on these boards that finally convinced me to create an Eve account in early 2004. You guys were one of those key groups I loved hearing stories from (and Jade of course ). Enjoy your retirement.

Let them rest and have a nice sleep.

A wise choice end, and a good one, will talk with you when i next change skills.
Just for any "old" biomass or FE (the corp) that might be reading this, NumberOne has set up a TS server we have been using to hang out, regulars include myself (havo), dirtyharry (the real harryz0r), number1, darwin, techie, chris xen, eneroth and a few others pop in now and again, contact one of the above to get the info, would be great to have yall on 1 TS again even if we are playing separate games :).
BM-C and F-E will not be forgotten

Without The End, Funshine and Forsaken Empire I would be sitting on a fortune having mined myself silly. However I also would have left the game shortly after.
Thank you for making me annoyed enough to fight back, it has kept me interested ever since.
I've spent a good few years losing in computer games - nearly 9 now I think (the winning thing bores my pants off), but never so convincingly as I did to F-E the corp.
All the best to you all

Hupa was awesome. We need to get that drunken Irish man (is there any other kind?) back in the game. And what the heck is Havocide doing in RKK??? I thought RKK were all scots...

Many people wonder why i left RKK, same reason really, its this big powerful corp, Galavet took the corp to the higest place of eve, but for me i missed the old pilots and the small corp that flew bb's and kessies, where a few pilots could make a big difference, but those days are goen time to move on

Originally by: The End About 2 1/2 yrs ago BioMass Cartel Flew Up and Down Eve destroying everything along with several pirate corps

BioMass's Reign was only ended Due To dispersing to Help Form The Forsaken Empire Corp
I wont Go into depth with The Forsaken Empire as this isnt About it.
NoT One Corp in the History Of Eve was in Control of the amount of regions that FE corp had. We will never forget the fights with RKK,JF,EVOL,m0o and Celestial Apoc. All corps that exist today with the expection of m0o
I applaud your ability to stand strong in this game through time.
This brings us to my reason for posting. Time... It can be Your greatest Ally or your worst Enemy. From the begining of the game to now. Most the people that made BioMass/F-E corp great are gone Christopher Xen, Hupa, NumberOne, Techie Zero, Star Dog (ballistic Void), Limpy Bint, Ender hawks just to name a few Some Still play but barely or in other corps people like Hanns and Havocide(dirtyharry)Darwin Mongo Peck etc...
With All this The Current BioMass just doesnt Feel the same. While i enjoyed the pilots we had. it just wasnt the same feeling as it was long ago.
We Remade Bio with the hopes that we would bring people back in the game but it didnt happen. people have moved on and now we do as well.
The Game Has Changed so much since my time away from the game.
F-E Corp and sub corps were IMO the greatest Corp in the old Era.
Now corps like ATUK, RKK, EVOL and select others are in that position. These Corps have adjusted and Stayed with the game getting stronger and stronger. Something F-E Corp could never do.
This brings me to My Conclusion. BioMass Will Close its doors. I Wont say forever but i dont see it ever coming back since i will maintain the corp i refuse to bring it back. Its Legend will live on in History
I wish all members Of BioMass Good Luck with their future Endeavors These are pretty good pilots so jump on them if you can :)
As for me. I think i will take a long long vacation. I will still be in game. but not that much i will just be F-E Alliance Military Advisor
The Name Shall Live On and i shall see it to The End
Thank you all for one reading this and to all the fights in the game. you guys are great.
BioMass Dissapeared when it Went into F-E Corp It now dissapears When it went in F-E Alliance
BioMass Cartel Out..............
Hello 'The End' i don't know if you remember me, but you where this first one to kill me (not pod) that was almost 2 years ago and i have never forgotten it,

Such a shame, i rejoined bio a few weeks ago but unfortunatly it just wasnt the same, nor end or parmi's fault, but it seems biomass era is well an truly over, i had some of the best times in eve while i was in biomass, and we gained alot of respect (and hate) from the eve community, but like many people here have already stated biomass will always be remeberd like other corps before and after.
goodluck to the old biomass crew, and fly safe!

It was months ago that I had first come across the corp ticker for the Bio-Mass Cartel in Deep Space.
A Pilot proudly wearing this ticker warped into an asteroid belt where I and two Corp members have been successfully eradicating Guristas near F-E Space. He made no hesitation and moved to place us in his deadly reach. Within the next immediate seconds, targets locks where exchanged between us and the unidentified pilot just after I decided to ask everyone to not be an aggressor. A few missiles flew at the Pilot. Before they could impact, before any chance of warp disruption could possibly take effect or my fellow corp members realized where I was taking us, warp drives kicked in and we hopped out of the belt. My Corp buddies were slightly disappointed to find themselves safely floating in the quite middle of the system.
The Pilot exited the system. We went back to eradicating Guristas.
A while later, we were fat enough for one day from the bounties we claimed and turned our ships toward friendlier space.
I was thinking that it was going to be a profitable day for an adventure into an area of space we have never traveled before (ha-ha, yea right). With no instas to safely guide us back, we decided take turns to spot check gates on the route to home base.
Local was clear and it was my turn to go and clear the next gate. I was soaring with only 9km to kill between myself and the gate when that unidentified Pilot from before with the B-MC ticker suddenly popped up in local. His ship jumped right on top of me. The lock was instant. My warp drive was rendered useless and I was webbed. The PilotÆs guns start blazing in on me and chewing thru my shields. His ship was moving fast and furious in an orbit around me. He was confident and deadly with murderous intent. I finally accepted the fight. I turned my ship into him and let the charges and missiles fly from my MOA. His speed and evasive maneuvering was too fast for the turrets to track. I had only luck and missiles to hit him with.
Most of my turret volleys missed. I started to manage power, directing energy from the nearly useless turrets to the shield booster. My shields were alive again. The power core and shields recover to a point where I can return fire again. IÆm still webbed and in a fight to keep floating. I then noticed that the interceptor pilot and I are not alone in local. There was certainly another ship inbound and it was not going to be friendly with me. I ward off any assistance from the corp members and start shooting for any precious seconds I can create. I get lucky and my turrets start landing blows. The interceptorÆs shields get chewed up and IÆm in his armor. Oh heh, heÆs an armor tank à great! ThereÆs only seconds left and the jump is so close that maybe somehow I can make it out. I let everything go into weapons. My shields are chewed again and struggling to wake up, my armor is touched but somehow it looks as though à is luck teasing me? I might overcome his tank?
His armor drops below half and seems to be on a decline. The seconds stretch forever. Something like a grim-smiling-wince overcomes my face. Am I going to make it? Am I going to win this fight? à IÆm moments from being vulnerable in my pod. The outcome seems to have a slight glimmer of hopeà
Then help arrives. Not mine. Lock. Shred. My armor and structure blinked away. Bang. My exposed Pod goes *pop*. I wake up in Empire. There was no smack talk throughout the entire encounter. It was direct and deadly. I LOVED IT!
I found later that the Interceptor Pilot was ParMizan CEO of the Bio-Mass Cartel. ParMizan, thank you for that fight. After this one, I never hesitated again and continue to live often. I wish you the best and please come back to EvE when itÆs all good.
I like reading tales from of EvEÆs History. I would appreciate if some of you from B-MC would write down some your best tales and record it.
Good night Bio-Mass Cartel, now a EvE legend .
The uncommon sense of one Pilot can surmount or surpass the dogma of what is possible and Time pwns all! |
