Hello, I have tested out Eve online several times in the past but have never strayed for more than a very months, the reason for this is I always had a hard time finding a corp or other players to spend time with in game to teach me the ropes of the game.
I am looking to return in the next few weeks when my new gaming computer arrives and am hoping to find both a corp to take me on and them someone from within that corp who would be willing to take a hands on approach to teaching me the early begins of the game for roughly 3 months while I get to grips with the basics and move onto the more complex parts of the game.
I would like it if this mentor could help me in obtaining my first ship capable of sustaining its own in Null Sec, help me move out to the corps area of space so I can train and level in a safe but social area, and teach me the more complex thing I need to do to full fill my desired role of being an explorer.
After which I imagine I would stick with that corp for another 9 months - 2 years until I considered my self experienced enough to navigate the universe on my own terms in which case I would either move on to a series of new corps to get to know more about the universe or if I really liked this corp instead of leaving I would take on a hopefully more active role in it.
I plan to make a new character and start from scratch when I return in two weeks, I will be playing an Amarr character with the intent to become a explorer so I will be looking at covert ships and interceptors as my ideal vessel and am hoping you will be able to help me create a ship that has both speed and enough firepower to hold out in in small scale battles so that I can be diverse in my role in the corp. That said I've no expectations to be taking on any battleships head to head or face down multiple frights alone but I would hope that in a one on one fight I could at least a hold a opponent off long enough for me to warp off to safety.
Basic information,
Male, 22, employed, English, will be playing the game in England time zone around 7pm - 10pm weekdays and weekends will vary. |

i usualy like to help new players but unfortunatly u have in mind game style i'm not actualy playing.
i live in wormhole and wh space is not "new player friendly" not because of pvp or other much as u need good basic knowledge for living in wh like probing, scouting, move in shadows,... all around self-sufficient char and player skillwise. but if u have time ad patient to learn about just push me an eve mail.
ofc i'm not eve-god or super nerd eve player, just willing to transmit my modest knowledge about this huge "world" as other "old" players did with me in past.

Nothing wrong with asking for a hand with the learning curve here, and I'd be more than willing to assist. But that EU timezone might be a problem to find a way around, as I'm currently in West Coast U.S. Never the less feel free to shoot me an in-game mail with any questions you have and i'll be happy to answer as best i can.
Also, if you're interested you could apply to join EvE University. They have a real good battery of lessons, classes and hands-on instructors geared towards new players. Just something to consider.

Epsilon Assets Inc is always looking for new Pilots and will teach you the ropes. from your questions I dont think you completely understand the game as you dont mess with Nullsec unless you want to harras the locals or join there corp. I have experience in a Nullsec corp / alliance.
