not exactly a "new citizen", but the Q&A bit im interested in.
i want a jumpclone, and understand i need 8.0 corp + personal standing -> clone facility owner.now, heres my question.
corp standing -> npc corp = average of personal standings -> npc corp, correct? but, if a player has had no interaction with a npc corp, then they use their corporations standing -> npc corp (shout if you get lost - i am =P)
so basically, if my corporation has 30 members, and i want to install jumpclones, would i need all 30 memebrs to raise standings over 8 to one npc, or only the players who had "interacted" with that corp (ie, was on their liked by/disliked by list)
thnx, hope u can all get what im swinging at =P

I as I understand it your corp and you have to have a standing of 8.0 or more.
your question seems to be how is the corp standing worked out ?

i chose a npc corp that i couldnt find on my corps like/dislike list, and did a few missions for them - they havent appeared yet, so im confused about how it works now =(

CaptainSeafort did missions for Native Freshfood. Seafort wanted Freshfood to like TTLG, his corp. Seafort did missions for Freshfood for 2 days, and yet while his standing was raising, TTLGs wasnt. Please help Seafort!
got it? =P

The way I understand it as explained by a guide, is every DT or so it sums all of your Active Corp member standings and takes the average. That is your PC Corps Standing towards the NPC Corp. (Note if youÆre in a NPC Corp your SOL).
I have checked this a couple times and it seems to be correct. However there have been some discrepancies and it can take a day or two to come out at the right value. Canceled accounts do not count. But if you have 1 person with an 8.0 and 3 people with 0.0.. Your SOL because your average will be 2.0ish.

is that if the 3 guys are 0.0 due to completing one mission and failing one, or 0.0 as in they havent intereacted with the NPC corp?
thnx guys =)

Good question.. I didnt ask. :) Most of the people in my corp have standing one way or another. Either derived or from doing missions.

thats the thing, ysee. if i want jumpclones, the best way would be for me to choose an unafilliated npc corp, and grind them to >8.0, wait for cor standing to catch up, then drop as many jump clones as i can and reaarange them around the universe as it suits me - but if i have to get nearly 50 peoples average to >8.0, thats just crazeh =P

Should be all members who have interacted...
By far the easiest way is to use a 0.0 station from a player alliance ---- EVE-Central.com | Obsidian Technologies - 0.0 Manufacturing, Defense and Logistics. We're hiring! Mail me |

I've only read a bit, and I'm confused, so I guess you must be too.
I got my jump clones by working up my personal standing up to > +8.0, and leaving my corp. This places you in your noob corp (e.g. The Scope).
Installed jump clones (100K a pop), rejoined my corp. All done.

i dont wanna leave my corp tho (and give up my shiny year+ membership badge? pff ) and i can only install in a 0.0 outpost etc, if i fly out there - not an appetizing thought =)

Only those members of your corp who have interacted with that corp will affect the the standings. My corp has tested this out. 3 members of my corp chose an npc corp that none of us have run mission for and after 2 weeks of doing mission for that corp our corp standing with them is the average of the 3 members doing missions for them, but it doesn't update our corps standing with them right away it takes awhile for it to recalculate the avg.

The way I understand it. If only one of your corp members does missions for a NPC corp, your corp has the same standings with the corp as that corp member. You just have to advise all other corp members to stay away form doing missions for that particular NPC corp as a single mission by one other member would then divide your corp standing by 2.
So if you were the only one who did missions for Scope until your standing with them was +8, your corp would have a standing of +8 as well. If another member did a mission for Scope, your corp standing would immediately drop to +4.
I may have it wrong and someone will tell me no doubt but that's the way I was lead to believe it worked.
