Hi, am I being underpaid, I suspect I am and would like to know why. If I forget to check back here please post the reply in an email in-game. Thanks.
Ok, the details.
Social Skills ============= Connections III Social III Negotation I
I'm running missions for a level II (-12) and he's paying me on average 60k ISK per mission. I'm sure I was getting more than that in Gallente space. Is it because I'm gallente in Minimatar space?
Please help, I'm sure I'm selling myself short.

That sounds like terrible pay. What is the quality of the agent?

Quality -12 sucks. Higher quality, higher pay.
Also if you want better pay, go to lower sec space. If your agent in Galante space was A: higher quality and/or B: in lower sec (.5 vs .9) the pay would be different. Best pay comes from higher quality agents in lower sec space.

Ahh. I've been trying to avoid .4 space for obvious reasons. I'm not a carebear, I'm just new and trying to avoid the more serious gates until I at least get past my learning skills.
Apart from using 'insta bookmarks' and warp core stabilizers what would you suggest?

Gonna try .6 space (which seems to be about the best I can get around here

I went to a .6 space and saw no improvement in fee from 1.0 space. Whats going on.
What's is most odd is that when I did missions down in gallente space I was getting 100k per mission and that was when I started out.
It's getting annoying. Does anyone know the situ here?

It is normal payment for -12 agent in hi-sec space.

It still doesn't explain why I was getting 100k average down in Gallente space. Most annoying.
I guess I'm just going to have to work on those social skills and improve my rep until I get level 3 agents I guess.
I'm running the missions alone so I can't run the risk of .4 or lower as I know I'll be gate-camped.

Some missions pay out more than others usually depending on what you have to do. I got the odd level 1 mission worth 100000 but I have also gotten level 2s worth much more (on -quality).
On level 2s compared to 1s you will also be getting better isk for the npcs you kill.

Negotation Skill adds to pay, get it to lvl 3-4 and see what you get then.

Wrong. They might be gatecamped. It very depends on the system. The systems I do my missions in (now lvl 3) are very-very rarely gatecamped.

Agent standing affects the pay as well as the agents quality. When I moved from my high-quality level 2 agent to a new level 3 agent the level 3 agent paid less than the level 2 one for a while. But eventually, as I got my standings up, he started paying more. Later on, I moved from that agent to the highest quality level 3 agent for that corp, and he paid out less at first too until I got my standing up with him.

Ah right...
Thanks Mike, that makes sense. So it's not only level and quality but my standing with that agent too. That helps a lot. Thanks
