Finally got round to reading the half blood prince, and like with all the previous ones im kicking myself for taking so long to read it.
Its brilliant. Shes so bloody clever how she intergrates the story. Really teases you with the plots, cant wait to find out what the memory of slughorns is all about, nearly finished now it now page 453, so i wont be reading this thread till ive finished, as im sure some newb will try and spoil it for me.
Wish that luck potion was real would love some of that!
Anyone know when the next one is out?

You cant really read properly when ur reading that fast. i personally read books carefully never missing a word. I just like to hold out the enjoyment of a good story for as long as possible.
Couldnt put this book down tho like with the others. God the films totally suck compared to the books.
Totally hate it when people say "yeh i watched the films tho" MISSING SO MUCH, that recent one it even changed the story! Dobby gave harry the gillyweed not moody!
Really want harry to hurry up and get all powerful! RAWR!

Yeah I did read them a bit fast, but it was hard not to after getting in to it..
Honestly, I don't remember much of it... EVE has a way of making me forget a lot of things...

My friend went. Got me a copy. Gave it to me in the morning.
I finished it before him.
It's a good book, im STILL confused about snape, either Dumbeldor (sP)
was an idiot or thats how he intended it to happen, maybe snape will
have a reality check and save Harry from Voldermort etc........

Imho JKR is going down hill. Goblet of Fire was the best un. Admittedly the Half Blood Prince was better than the Order of the Pheonix.
However the last book is probably going to be standard fantasy fair. Search for said magical items* (sound familiar? It would to anyone who has read any amount of fanstasy)
Predictions for 7:
Big evil guy gets killed
Semi evil guy (Snape) dies but realises error of ways
Mini evil guy (Malfoy) either gives in or dies, one of the two
Ginny and Harrers will prolly hook up again
As will Ermie and Ronnie
Sorry for my cynicism but the most recent two books didnt realy do it for me. I can barely remember the plot of the most recent one other than the ending twists and the Zombie type people who seamed like they had been shoved in for effect having not been menioned at all in previous enstallments
I also hope i have not incurred the wroth of any of you. These are just my opinions
I also sympathise with Jk. She has been sued about 4 times by people claiming to have invented the word "Muggle" etc. The first two films were also shameful and worthless.

CALM DOWN little babies, crist so u read fast big deal. Just i always see the odd post on a thread where they say "i read it all 7 books in 7mins" or "ive stayied up 20 days straight playing computer games" or "Yeh ive been to top of mount everest and i still get an amazing wireless link to the internet"
Stop turning the thread into a whos is bigger contest.
Anyway, i was thinking earlier sirius cant really be dead after the last book. Always thought if you dont see a body chances are he might not be dead!

Yeah big egos are always easily offended, look at Snape.  
She began writing book 7 in January and already mentioned her husband remarking something like "No way, don¦t do that, they will all hate you!" after reading the early pages.
So I expect this book to be really interesting early on, it¦s already growing longer than she expected.
Hum, we¦ll see.

I did I did not dress up in Harry Potter clothes tho and singing Harry Potter songs. Mainly because im 30
I love all the books. and when next book arrives, you wont see me on EVE for that day...
Yeh. Its THAT serious  And tbh, I am not looking forward for the day when the series ends.

yup this kinda confused me too
Its quite a complex condition, it does not effect my reading (well actually there is a possiblity it may acount for my reading speed), but it does effect my spelling, writing, maths and for the real weirdness my hearing (took me a while to belive this one myself, ceritan words I can not tell apart when spoken...go figure)...
Its been diagnosed at least 3 times over the past 23 years or so.
