So i stopped keeping updated on eve before christmas and i not sure if things have changed but dose the marauder no longer git a shield boost while in bastion mode? I was just using it and my shield boost amount did not change. Even the description says 100% shield boost but no dice. If I,m miss reading it please let me know. I'm newly flying a valgur and I'm just getting use to it. Also any advice from marauder pilots would be much appreciated. |

I get +3000 reps with bastion mode, not sure whats the problem here.
So yes, you should get repper bonuses with bastion module.
By the way, did you turn the module on?
Also, you can always file a bug report, as maybe you didn't know, but there are people at CCP being paid to look into stuff like this.

the bastion module is like a seige or triage module. its an active module that roots you in place and only applies its bonuses when activated.
it allows amongst other things you to use only t2 tank modules to tank full room aggro. to start off with use two t2 invuls and a large or xl t2 shieldbooster. a dc can help but is not strictly required. as you get used to it you can downgrade to only one or even no invuls.
be aware gurista assault can still kill you if you are not carefull. fit plenty of tracking comps and use autos for most missions. |

I use a Pith C-Type Large Booster, T2 Invulnerability, T2 Shield Boost Amp and a T2 DC. With Bastion running, I get around 1150 omni tank. I am assuming the Vargur should do the same. Just make sure you turn it on first. But remember it runs for 60 seconds, which means you are planted right there the whole time. |

As it is with most bug reports they like you to consult the forums before you do to save time if its a easy issue. Also unless its a money issue they take a long time to respond.

ok ill try that build on paper and see how it fares on a lv 3 before i try less forgiving situations |

You can see it while the bastion is on if you hold your mouse over the armor/shield repair module. That's what I've been doing. |

How the hell do people manage to play this game long enough to sit in marauders and not figure this out? There are literally 5 threads a day at least over people that are confused over incorrect stats in the in-game fitting window.

Wow man chill out a bit. People cant be blamed for using a stat tool given by the "DEVELOPERS" and not expect it to be accurate. Is this really such a issue for you to git bent out of shape? Also if there are as many issues with incorrect stats as you state it should be addressed by CCP and not ignored for less important updates/patches. |

I have a vamp, just to keep the cap topped off. Nuet is for PVP only. |

I use two tractor t2 and a salvager t2 and 5 salvage drones and a mtu. salvage and loot accounts for around half my income in most missions. more in eom/merc missions.
I dont salvage drone missions though. |

If you want to salvage, no. Tractors + Salvage drones. Otherwise nos, drone links, and at least 1 tractor are a good deal.
The tractors nice for all those missions where you need to collect something and you're stuck in bastion / don't want to fly to it. |

except the armor/shield repair rate doesn't get updated in the fitting window. if you show info on the module it will show the proper number though

I tell people to use EFT, but all I really care about is that they use something.
