Hello everyone, I'm thinking of getting an EVE tattoo, and if I do decide to finally get one, it will be my first tattoo. Yes, I never thought I would get a tatto, let alone a tattoo that has to do with a computer game.
Anyway, I would like to know if any of you have any EVE related tattoos on your bodies, and maybe be kind enough to post pciture?

I've actually been planning on something similar for a while.
I was thinking of doing a series of tattoo's from multiple games.
The reason is that when I think back to a game, it reminds me of a certain point in my life.
Earth and Beyond for example reminds me of when I lived in a City Called Thunder Bay for 3 years. It was where my Fiance went to univercity for Electronics Engineering.
City of Hero's spands a few years where my fiance and I were in my home town and I had a real hard time finding a decent job... and so on.
each game is a segment of my life.
They go all the way back to the original Mechwarrior game, that was about 800 KB. It was HUGH :) Played that on my 8088, then my 8 mhz 286, then my 12 mhz 286.. then the 33 mhz 386.. damn that was fast :)
demand is greater then supply = high price.
supply is greater then demand = low price.

Why not get the symbol of the Intaki Syndicate? That looks cool enough.

If you get an EnB tat we'll tease you about it forever.
Actually, I have one based on something EVE related, and that's about all the info I'll give on that.
Next one is norse mythology though, not EVE related.

I want to get the all too famous EVE logo on my shoulder, or on my arm. Nothing too big or complicated for now.
...and how much does it hurt?

Your shoulders dont hurt too much as there is plenty of muscle (normally) to make sure the needle doesn't hit bone or a cluster of nerves.
However - Take care in choosing a good tattooist, also re-consider getting the EVE logo emblazened on yourself, as EVE will not be around when your quiet a bit older, (But I hope it's around till at least 2012) and people are asking you what EVE is. ------------------------------------------------- AWMCorp is Recruiting

Health Warning - Tattoos - Your house may be repossesed if you cannot keep up the repayments on it due to spending an obscene amount of cash on EVE tattoos
Tattoos are addictive btw just so you know - once you get your first it's never your last.
Good luck though on what-ever you get..
If youget some piccies can you send me an EVE mail and I'll update the EVE-Ink site I'd liek to start getting other peoples tattoos on show ------------------------------------------------- AWMCorp is Recruiting

I'm actually thinking of taking the Sebiestor logo on the soles of my feet. One half on each side ( the part that you dont put pressure on ) It fits nicely there and its discrete.

I suppose you dont know about that dutch game jounalist that has a huge nintendo tattoo on his lower leg, its fracking awesome!
That said, i wouldnt mind a small eve tattoo myself, just for coolness sake, either the caldari "c" or just "eve". If i get cool and popular later in life, i can say eve was this chick and that i got the tattoo while drunk or something. ________________________________________________ Hypocritical. |

Don't do it! Unless you are comfortable with the fact that your "temporary" game will be emblazoned forever on your body. I know you are talking about a tiny tat, nothing too obscene.
I was the only guy out of my fifty man chapter NOT to get a tattoo after initiation. Everyone thought I was nuts not to do so. A couple of those guys left the house and the brotherhood, but they still had a tattoo to remind them daily.
I didn't skip out on the tattoo because of pain, needles, or w/e. I chose to skip it because every grown adult male, tht travels in my circles, has pointed to their tattoo and explained how they wish they had never done it.
EVE will be gone, or at least empty, in four years or so. Think about the permanence of your choice.
If I were to get a tattoo, I'd get USMC small across my shoulder on the bicep. The Marines aren't going anywhere, whereas EVE is a perishable commodity.

Some of you folks are missing the point.
the Tattoo isnt' for others, it's for yourself.
It's meant as a reminder of a particular time in your life that may remind you of something.
Some people get tattoo's when in High school, or when they finish military training or join a police force or something similar. They are to comemorate a period of your life.
I don't know about you folks, but Videogames have been a big part of my life for the past 20 years.
And every once in a while a game or game series holds a long set of memories.
Some of you are laughing about explaining what the EVE logo tattoo is to someone. Remember that video games, and MMO's specifically, are becomeing more mainstream. 20 years from now, I can see about 80% of the population in a lot of countries playing MMO's of some sort.
So when you explain to someone that you played this MMO called eve 15 years ago for 7 years, they'll understand.
As for the grandkids, they'll wonder how you got by with a simple 2D screen, a physical keyboard, and wonder why you keep refering to rodents as a tool for computers.
demand is greater then supply = high price.
supply is greater then demand = low price.
