Since the ships get rather large, you would think that there would be multiple duties different people could perform on the same ship. Does Eve allow multiple people to be on one ship? This would be pretty cool. Maybe a couple people could handle the weapons, one doing the Nav or mining..who knows.
So, can you have more then one player on a ship?

Even though ships have the pods they do still have crews. You are the captain of your ship and command your crew. Having another player on the ship is not possible though. - - - - - - - Disclaimer I take no responsibility for the spelling or grammar usage in the above statement Nor do i agree with its ideas and or claims Or even acknowledge its existance. |

After Attempting to lock onto a Frigate, and accidently clicking 'Board' i somehow ended up as a passanger in the Pirates ship, watching my poor cruiser sail off into the distance Once docked, and recieving my new Ibis, i spoke to my friendly Gm, and was back in my ship in no time. So you sort of can be a passanger.
Wheres hostile boarding skill?

Yah only frigates have a single pod in them. The battleships have a crew of a few hundred. Back in the beta the info for the ships listed the crew numbers. I think most crusiers had about 3 - 8 crew members.

Edited by: NTRabbit on 16/09/2003 09:15:03 I remember back in the early beta's that if you were destroyed, you could catch a lift by using the "board as passenger" function on a friends ship and avoid the long and perilous voyage in a slow pod. Did that myself once or twice...

That sounds really cool, any idea why they took it out?
I think having an ally board your ship as a passenger should give you like some sort of weapons or shield bonus. |
