Today marks the one-year anniversary of the formation of the Aegis Militia paramilitary Alliance.
The dream of uniting Amarr loyalist forces to deal with specific rising threats to our Empire has been realized in a way we could not have imagined at our inception.
I look beside me today and see the faces of my comrades in arms, these tried and tested. Eyes once filled with fresh fervor have now seen things that few others in this cluster ever have, souls hardened by war and tempered by victory.
This day belongs to you, the faithful, and to those who could not be with us to celebrate it. The path has been long, and many have been lost on the way...
...but for all that is lost, so much more has been gained. The Militia has forged itself into a force that, pilot for pilot, few capsuleer fleets can match. While the Reclaiming of the Bleak Lands for Amarr has been the dominant visible legacy to our efforts, so much that the Militia and it's warriors have done will never be known but to those in dark corners of power. This is simply the reality of our calling.
In light and in shadow, we work ever forward, to the goal of final Victory for Amarr, via means that none else have yet envisioned. Chosen now by the Order of St Tetrimon to prepare the way, the destiny of our Empire is once again at hand, and the Militia rises to the task.
Our first year is over. Oh, what wonders another will reveal!

Congratulations to our friends of the Aegis Militia. CAIN passed it's first year as an established corporation just two months back so I know how it feels to be a part of something as succesful as a corporation that survives even a year in the maelstrom of galaxy politics.
May the next year be one of success and conquest.
