I know this has been requsted before, but I will request again...pretty please can we have a forum dedicated to discussions about the storylines and roleplay happenings in eve?
There are a few forums out there that already cater for this, but the vast majority of the eve population do not know about them. It would be a great way to expose those who are unsure what on earth is going on. So please give us somewhere to talk...pretty please

i've never liked role playing or IC stuff, but i'd like somewhere to talk about the events happening involving the fiction

The roleplay/fiction side of the game has a lot more too it than just the events. The events forum also caters for things that have nothing to do with the storyline at all.
I know some people dont like the IC side of things, but they dont have to read the posts if we get our own forum :)

Been a long time since I saw any GM 'actors' in the summit or in-game.
Do they even care anymore?

They were around very recently, both in 0.0 and in empire
Ushra'khan killed an amarr holder on a routine vitoc raid (storyline)
Pirate factions have been getting involved in 0.0 alliance politics
I'm sure theres more

Point is, these events, storylines and interaction with the factions are few and far between. I been playing since beta and can assure you they are pretty rare. Even when they do happen they last for about an hour or two and then nothing for months.
People need to be appointed to play characters from each faction and to interract with the players in the summit and in-game. It really isn't that hard is it? What is the event team (Aurora?) actually doing all this time?
PS, Sorry to de-rail this thread a little. I'm happy now I managed to let it all out.

I know all about that place, point is many of the playerbase who might find the roleplay scene quite interesting dont find out about it.
For a lot of people it can be quite daunting to go on the summit and start off. An official forum would be a nice place to share ideas and meet like minded people.
