Well Hello!
I am, as you can probably guess, looking for a corp to join. IGÇÖm a long term EVE player (since I was 16 when Rev II was fresh and the game was horribly bewildering to me) but didnGÇÖt start playing seriously until I made Ahmazzan (whoGÇÖs been on and off over the years).
Since day one IGÇÖve pretty much wanted to go it alone, and with a couple of exceptions thatGÇÖs pretty much been the case. But not being a pvp fanatic (the few occasions IGÇÖve been involved in it have been very exciting but tend to end in my death) and deriving no joy from playing the market game has rather limited my scope. IGÇÖve spent most of my time, and made the majority of my money, from exploration; both pre and post Odyssey. But this is really beginning to feel pointless, whether itGÇÖs scraping together nano ribbons in my pilgrim or playing loot roulette in exploration sites.
Basically I want to maintain my play style GÇô sneaking about in cloaky ships and avoiding mooks (no offence  ), like IGÇÖve done for most of my EVE career. But I want to do it for more than just making money for moneyGÇÖs sake. So what IGÇÖm looking for would ideally be a scouting role for a 0.0 corp GÇô plenty of sneaking, plenty of avoiding, but I get to do it for more of a reason than just to pay off the cost of the ship I bought to sneak about with in the first placeGǪ
So! If youGÇÖll have me, this is what IGÇÖll bring to the table:
Practical Skills
 Extensive Experience of moving through space, 0.0/wormhole/anywhere and getting past gatecamps of varying sizes (from almost nothing to significant pipe camps with numerous ships and orbiting drones)
Sound knowledge of Dscanning/probing
IGÇÖm organized, patient, observant and quite comfortable relaying relevant data
Willing to learn, particularly with a view to cloaky/blops related pvp which I would be very interested in
Social
No Drama
Friendly, if a little introverted.
Comfortable working as part of a fleet or solo.
Timezone: GMT
Familiar with teamspeak/mumble and quite happy to use other programs.
Age: 22 and mature, though with a sense of humour.
RL comes first, though I donGÇÖt have an enormous amount of commitments at the moment.
In-game Character skills
>80mill in total.
Very well rounded skills for piloting/exploration/combat/scouting.
Cynosural field theory V and well developed jump drive skills.
Racial cruisers/BS maxed (with the exception of minmatar cruiser which is at 4)
Familiar with and capable of fitting satisfactorily: Buzzard, Manticore, Falcon, Pilgrim, Proteus, Tengu and Widow. (and plenty of others, IGÇÖve put these here as examples relevant to my areas of interest.)
What I DONGÇÖT have:
A cocky attitude.
A desire to advance to any sort of FC position. (IGÇÖve basically acted as advisor to group leaders in my previous gaming career and enjoy doing so if itGÇÖs wanted/warranted. But I hate leading personally.)
Extensive front line pvp experience beyond getting shot at. (I spend most of my time avoiding this if I can help it.)
A desire to pilot capital ships. Ever.
Ties or loyalties to any coalitions/factions in EVE. (Aside from the Caldari State of course, those magnificent bastards.)
A good looking killboard. Most of those were lost running angels missions before the inti changes (I guess it must be a walk in the park now). Oh and about that Widow, I was supporting some friends. seriously. check the cargo.
What IGÇÖm ideally looking for:
An established 0.0 corp (maybe wormhole?)
Sov would be nice but obviously I canGÇÖt be picky.
A friendly environment, serious when needed, and wonGÇÖt chop my balls off for not being savvy with every aspect of pvp/corporation protocol as IGÇÖm starting out.
A group of experienced players I can learn from in the field you choose to put me in.
Other Interests:
- Casual MTG (B/U for the win!)
- Dota 2 (support Nyx!)
- Doodling & small bit of creative writing
- D&D (DM, 3.5!)
- Debating War/Military History/Philosophy /Religion (IGÇÖm a laid back agnostic)
- W40k (DE)
- Gaming in general (sweet Jesus I hope THIEF is going to be worthy of its ancestors!?!)
- Walking. (because being healthy is healthy mkay?)
So, yeah I think that pretty much covers it. Looking up, that turned into a fair amount of text, so sorry for that, but itGÇÖll give you a good idea of what to expect from me!
