freek	Posted - 2006.04.11 18:03:00 - [71] The FIX gang was out patroling the south of Q when we found a small BOB gang 8-10 ships they did not want to engage our force as we out numbered them 5:1 fair enough :) as we returned to 9CG a BOB gang of 20+ mostly HAC's entered 9CG from the north and setup on the south gate. I guess they had the intel on our gang as they knew exactly where to wait for us so they also had a good idea what they were up against and could have got more people or left, but they stayed in position and we got ready on the other side of the gate and jumped in. YARR We took down 10 BOB pilots and lost 9 FIX pilots (based on our killboard) It was a good fight and much respect to BOB.

I was too slow to get to the inties and the BoB Battleships were too far away. The battlefield looked like this: {{Stargate}} FIX --------------> Me ----------> BoB I charged straight towards Blacklight ready the stamp on F1-F4, but by the time the fight was over I was STILL 50KM from the BoB fleet!!!! Damn you!! Great fight, though...lots of pretty 'splosions on both sides. ^_^ ________________________________________

Made up for it later though on the way to H74 when I was able to aggress some SA and the Fix fleet came in and was able to pay them back with intrest for making my pretty ship catch fire ------------------------------------------------ "Don't take life too seriously, nobody gets out alive!"

Anyone else notice all the smack is coming from alts and those you never see in a fight? I tried to warp scramble and pod him but for some reason my F1-F8 buttons don't work on his chevy blazer. So best i can do is keep my guys fitted with ships and out there fighting. We have a few Ex BOB pilts among us and judging by there skill this must be a scary good Fight. i am still scheeming of ways to get out of work. :D Thank you Bob for an honorable fight.
