this really only applies to those of us in the states, anyway...
i'm sure i'm not the only one that knows UPN is also playing Southpark now, however, they somehow decided to put an episode of Home Improvement between two episodes of Southpark. am i the only one who thinks there is something totally messed up about this? i mean, who the hell are they catering to? nearly as cool of a programing choice as when MTV would air episodes of Cribs right after specials about all the people who's lives where destroyed by Katrina.
man, i watch too much crap TV... thank god i found a way to block VH1 on my cablebox...

PBS is your friend, embrace him. You can even watch many programs online.

Digital video recording is your friend, stop watching live TV.
Just switch on the box and look at the nice big list of recorded shows that you can start watching anytime you want, and pause/rewind/fast-forward at will. -------- Tom Thumb > for a nut case you rawk [04:21:15] Mebrithiel Ju'wien > Nik's bio 4tw btw [07:38:53] Graelyn > Nikolai for Dev 108!

I usually just put it on Comedy Central and leave it. If nothing is on... I cancel my DSL subscription and use the money I save to buy Dr. Pepper for Eve time!! There are only like 2 or 3 shows on these days worth watching anyways. There's no point in paying for them when eventually some really great person is going to put them on the internet for "free legal downlaod." --- --- --- ---

I miss the good old days on UPN of the illustrious space epic Homeboys in Outer Space and the scandolous Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer. Those were truly great shows.

You do realize that it's your local station that decides when shows are on, not the network, right? The local UPN here doesn't show SP, Fox does.
Take it up with the station, not the whole network.

Well, UPN isn't run by the brightest of people, and most channels put the ****ty shows on after/btween good shows.
Kinda like how comedy central puts mind of mencia on after southpark, hoping people will just leave the TV on, and further worsing the idea that he's funny.
