The multinational manufacturing corporation Ominous Corp is now seeking experienced pilots as well as fresh recruits. We currently have positions open in Mining and Exploration, Idustrial Technologies, as well as our Defense Force (NPC & PvP).

Welcome New Hires and Prospective Employees
First of all, a little history of Ominous Corp
Ominous Corporation dates back to the beta days.
Originally established by Mindecho in the year 104 as a manufacturing corporation, for over two years, Ominous Corp evolved as both a manufacturing entity and at one time, a major military force in the Khanid, Querious and Delve regions.
Ominous Forces have seen action in several wars both under and against the Coalition of Free Stars (CFS) alliance flag. Ominous Corp was instrumental during the Querious Rebellion in securing the region when the Querious Defense Force (Firmus Ixion alliance) wrested the area from a corrupt and failing CFS.
Since that time, partly because of the relative peace, partly due to other interests and other online games, Ominous, especially the Defense Force, was reduced to a handful of pilots primarily mining, manufacturing, running agent missions or NPC hunting. Most of the corporation returned from 0.0 space and settled in empire near our manufacturing interests.
With the introduction of Player owned stations and the increased need for more and more Tech 2 items and components, Ominous is expanding. Our T2 production is only in it's infancy at the moment but growing with several employees conducting research. Ominous currently has several starbases scattered around the Khanid region supporting T2 production through moon mining and simple reactions.
Plans are on the boards to return 0.0 space. But we must be able to field a fleet of miners with sufficient defenses to survive. That means survival against both NPC and PvP aggressors. Once we accomplish this, the next logical step is to establish a base of operations with one of our POS.
The key ingredient in this recipe is YOU, the independant miner, combat specialist, the trader or manufacturer. Whether you are an experienced pilot, a new graduate from the academy or an employee of a failing corporation:

Employee Benefits
Employment incentives
Ominous has a generous sign-up incentive program for recent Academy Graduates. This package includes ships, weapons and modules through tuition assistance and guidance.
Dividends
With the implementation of the Corporate Tax System, Ominous has begun distributing stock to its employees on a merit basis. In other words as incentive for employees to be more involved in activities, goals and generally working for the growth of the corporation. Regular dividend distributions of 1% of the corporation's cash reserves is distributed to share holders. This usually occurs around the beginning of the month.
Ships
When an employee needs or upgrades to a new ship, it has been the policy of the corporation to make every effort to ease the burden of aquiring it. Often special Ops are called for to mine the minerals afterwhich the corporation will build it for free. Priority is based on merit and the pilot is expected to participate. Naturally ODF. builds have priority especially during times of conflict.
Ship Insurance
Depending on your involvement with and work for the Corporation, Employee ship insurance can be paid by the corporation. This benefit may not apply to infrequent employees and employees with multiple ships. Each case is weighed against its worth to the corporation. Where applicable, insurance payments are made by the corporation who is also the beneficiary should the ship be destroyed. Upon the unfortunate destruction of an insured employees ship, the corporation will replace it. Participation in acquiring the raplacement materials is expected of the pilot should the need arise.
Blueprints
Copies of all Ominous owned BPs are available to all personel for use in our factories. As many BPs are privately owned, secure storage of copies and originals is provided in all stations. Access is limited to Directors and the Factory Manager of manufacturing stations.

Hi Avernus! Hope all is well with you guys.
BTW , Ominous has now also helped with the formation of a New Alliance. In anticipation of bigger and better things I'd like to hear from any Old friends and new as well, that may be interested in joining a new alliance that has big plans for the Future.
