Atm i am forced to mine the hole day .....
I feel totally boring and have no fun. Why i can not give my mining drones names ? I would give me a little more personal atmosphere during mining. And we would have the chance to get some funny posts here:
'Who saw fluffy? i saw her last in New caldari iV belt 3'
Or whats about Combat drones ... would it be a bit funnier to name then ?

Currently there is no advantage to naming your ship (as the only way someone would see the name is if they scanned from a distance), however, naming combat or even worse, mining drones could set up a possible exploit(! !)
Imagine a lazy griefer "pirate" sitting in a 1.0 - 0.5 sec. asteroid belt with a few drones orbiting, with such names as: Serpentis Patroller, Blood Collector, Serpentis Defender, etc. Can you imagine what just might happen?
Even "Chosen Drone Name (Wasp 1)" may cause grief with newer or less observant non-newbies if the chosen name happened to be that of a NPC pirate. Of course, concord would get to flex their tech. level 5 modules even more than usual..

On top of that players may be left with a sense of real loss having their named drones destroyed. Never get your ass attached to the furniture!

We have 2 corp wars running ...
well, one corp is dead (CEO left and only inactive players left)
and the other is hiding in the base when we come ......
isnt there a corp with heroic ship commanders that r prepared to die in a gloriuos battle ?
