I equiped a T2 standard launcher with Sabretooth fury light missles and was surprised to find out that the Missle Bombardment and missle projection skills don't modify the missles. My maximum range for the advanced missles is measly 6km.
Is this a Bug or is it Intended to be that gimped?
Might as well equip Rockets with that kind of a gimp, hardly a T2 missle. --- Cosmos Araz | Cosmos Okkelen |

its a high damage missile, of course its supposed to be a lower range.
But yes, it does seem that rockets are more powerful, i engaged a rocket crow with my t2 (damage) missile crow. He started hitting my structure when i was about 75% through his armor, it was pretty close.

I just tried it with a T2 assault launcher and the range was gimped as well. When I tried it with the Precision missles the range was as it should be (28-30km). It must be just the Sabretooth fury light missles that are bugged. I'm going to file a bug report, because it doesn't make sense.

I just tested this - and it allmost works as espected with bloodclaw & sabretooth fury light missiles:
Flight time 3 sec x 2000 m/sec = 6KM "baserange" Apply Crow ceptor skill bonus (+10% missile velocity per level at lvl 5) 6KM x 1.5 = 9KM Apply Missile projection at lvl 5 (+10% missile velocity per level) 9KM x 1.5 = 13.5 KM Apply Missile bombardment at lvl 3 (+10% flight time per level) 13.5 x 1.3 = 17.55 KM
Test was jetisson a can and move to 17KM range (very slowly near 17KM and stop ship asap when 17 KM reached). Missile would not hit before I came within 15.5 KM range... Close but no cigar - possibly because of acceleration time for the missiles (?)

Yes, you lose ~2km off the range for acceleration.
