Then that would be a statement - and if your statement proved to be false, you would have been incorrect in your statement.

But phrase that same thing as a question, like "SOMER Blink dying?" and hey, you were just asking, not stating any kind of opinion or keeping yourself open to criticism.

It just lets you know what I was thinking about. It is a question for other's opinions, not a statement, and thus, I made it a question. Sue me.

This is going to sound too obvious; but do you know what those things you put into the rectangular edit box using your keyboard is called? You would move your mouth and speak, forming more of them when you want to communicate with other people.

They're called words.

Words and the ways they combine into sentences have meanings and those meanings can be very different depending on how you phrase things. They're used to communicate and the ways you put them together help other people understand what you're saying.

So yeah, it's general discussion. And yeah, you meant it as a question that has some interesting implications. But the words are important. The title has meaning. I'd presume you cared enough about what you were thinking to take the time to write it, so bloody well own it. Don't just fob it off like it has no meaning to you.
