The corp I'm in has 5 members. 2 of these members have an 8.0 standing with the NPC corp we are attempting to get Jump Clones from. The other three have below 8.0 (6.0, 6.0 and 5.0) yet our Corp standing is below 5.0 to the NPC corporation. A little math:
8+8+6+6+5 = 33 / 5 = 6.6
Our Corp standing with the NPC corp is below 5, why is that if it's the average of every corp member?
I'm not going by the adjusted Connections standing, I'm going by the actual standing each member has towards the NPC corp BEFORE connections. Anyone care to take a stab at it?

It is not the avg standing of each corp member, it is the standings that people gain while they work for agents under the corps ticker.

Sorry, you're going to have to clarify that for me a bit, how does that work?

I think what he means is that while your corp members may have standings of 8, 6 & whatever; what matters is how much their standing has increased while a member of the corp their in. By that I mean if you came to a corp with a standing of 5with a NPC corp & then got it to 8, thats only an increase of 3 while in the corp & its that number that goes into deciding the corp standings. _______________________________________________ I am what I am & more besides that which makes me me |

Erm... who cares on the corp standing? You need a personal standing of at least 8.0 to use a jump clone in such a station so in your case 2 members can use em, the rest not. You can go from the adjusted standings though afaik.

You need personal and corp standing above 8.0 to place a jump clone. So even if you have 9.95 , and corp has below 8.0 , you cannot install a jump clone.
The average is based on missions and standing gains made while in the player corp. Any standing your character gained prior to joining the corp helps your rating , but does nothing for the corp standing. So 1 member running 1 or 2 missions and stopping hurts the overall corp average.

Hmmm.. there's something wrong i think.
Imagine that.. you start a 1 man corp with a previous personal standing toward some corporation of 6.
Now, you can further increase your personal standing to maximum 10. What you're saying, you will never be able to have a +8 corp standing toward that npc corp?

Corp to Corp standing have nothing to do with your own standing, or average of your members.
Every member doing missions for NPC corp get personal standing + some percent of increase is added to corp to corp standing too. So, if your members starts ***** for one corp agents only, your corp standings will increase little by little after each mission is complete.

Yes you can, every mission you do for the npc corp will add some to your corp standing just as it would to your own.
Get everybody running mission none stop for a few days and ou will be close to getting them clones
