Hello,
I've been going through these topics on this forum, but haven't found any solution for it yet.
I get random glitching/flashing/flickering on my screen and it are especially the objects, like stations, ships and planets, that do have this problem.
Specs:
4800+ X2
7800gt extreme (dual GPU)
a8n32-sli deluxe
2gb ram
x-fi extreme
I've tried several videocard drivers but they aren't helping. The heat isn't it either.
I really hope someone got the solution for this problem as it's really annoying.

If it's just the textures flickering, it's a bug with the Z buffer. You need to try and set it to W buffer, or find a driver that works with your cards.

Well, my card does not support the W buffer unfortunately.
Different drivers won't work either.
Do you know whether CCP is working on that bug to fix it? |

Only happens uberwtfpwned badly to 0.01% of players unfortunatly... And it's almost unoticable the other times...
I think it's your hardware and/or software config that's causing it...

I'm having this problem also, flickering and/or distortion of objects, anyone give details as to how to change the Z-buffer to a W-buffer? Cause that's greek to me...but it makes the game nigh unplayable.
ps what are you guys doing in Venal? I got killed there by Stain last night...

I thought I was the only one going nuts with this problem. I've tried everything and hasn't helped. Its really noticable on Amarrian stations. My rig is also pretty close to the OP's :
4400+ x2
2gigs of ram
7800gt SLI (x2)
etc..
Has anyone come up with a fix for this? I never had this issue with my old pc (9800pro).

You could try the Omega drivers (google it) for your GPU chipset, but they are not always as stable as the standard drivers.
Note that the Omega drivers have the rare Flying Monitor Bug: If you throw your monitor out the window while using these drivers, your monitor will break.
