The OP is right... high sec war is dead. My corp deced an alliance a while back and the corps just bailed out. It's totally lame. The lameness of high sec wars is so bad that I don't even care anymore about my sec status. There's nothing in empire but safety. Empire is sparkle pony land. Safe. F it. Not really, except "war-dec shield" nothing really changed or will change, even said wardec shield policy is not really an change. After an winter we will see lots of destroyers killing exhumers and mission Battleships/tengues .. and if for whatever reason some chose to fit at least 110k ehp with decent omni tank they will get just two tornados and torn it to peaces. It will get like a fairy land for gankers, those hard-born decent people who cry over safe "high security" systems.

CCP is leveling the playing feild, so instead of haveing like 5 neut logi and god knows what else to gank the crap out of one ship, you now have to fight as in ship to ship (or gank with lots of ships in a wardec) killing war decs far from, bringing new life to a stale game macanic it might be worst that will happen is people find a way around the changes (which they will)
