ok i been in the game now 2 months and i just heard about trading
so my question is what is it and how can i start to do it

Use the market button.
Buy LOW.
Sell HIGH.
Easy.
and pay attention to range of buy/sell orders.

Well, trading is the art of making money :) its the old "buy low somewhere, sell high somewhere else" game.
For starters, you need a ship with a reasonable cargo size (whatever you can afford). Then, on the market look for "Trade Goods" (this is just an advice for beginners...later on you can of course also ferry other stuff). Set the visibility range setting to "Solarsystem" to see what is available in the system you're in. Look for items with a low price compared to the surrounding systems, and make sure that there is some buyer who's willing to pay a better price for them :) Load up with that cargo, fly to your destination and sell there. Thats it!
Some tips:
- make sure your destination is "safe". Its not fun to buy a full load of cargo, and find that you have to fly your ship into a 0.4 or lower system to sell!
- check the size of the items you buy (their volume), so you don't buy more than you can fit into your cargo hold!
- For skills: if you have the "Trade" skill already, you may want to train it to lvl 4, so you can the train the skill "Accounting". Accounting lowers the transaction tax, which is taken for every sale you make. So if you're serious into trading, this would be a valuable skill to have, as it increases your profit on a single trip.

Look for small trade goods like Antibiotics. A 10 or 20 percent profit on a load of 10,000 of those is better than a 50 percent profit on something larger that you can only carry 1,000 of.

Pah... If you want to make real money in trading, forget the above posts. Besides, trading like that will only grow you a long beard while you fly countless jumps.
Now, there is another way to trade, with less effort and much more reward. I could describe in detail, but then I'd hurt my own business 
I'll give you a hint though... People are lazy...
