Objective
Find the Jakela Plantation in Hjoramold using a system scanner. Take care to bring a Hacker Slice ID to access the first gate.
Destroy Rekker Malkun and bring his keycard back to Dalkar Kersos.
now i have scanned and find alot of stuff but not the gate i need anyone know about this plz help :*)

i had the same proplem what u need is a bm to it wich i have but cant log on the game until monday  but if u havent done the plantation on monday iŚll give u the bm u need i am hanging around hjoramold just send me a line and we will get u that bm

You have to use scan probes to find the plantation. Either that or message me in game and I`ll lead you to it.

It's not far from Barkrik Stargate. Wrap there and use your scanner to find it general position. As far as I remember you can pin point it from one of the asteroids belts near by. Then drop 3 X 3au probes and search for cosmic signature. If you can't use probes, -- drop me evemail and I will give you a BM.

I have the same problem... I found the gate in my scanner. (15Ś angel at 77,000,000km from the Barkrik stargate - lowerleft bottom of the scanner)
Then I wanted to deploy my 3 probes but I couldn't find anything to warp to, to deploy a probe! I never used probes succesfully before, so I may be doing something wrong here! Any help on how to find this gate would be greatly aprriciated!

Had the same problem last week trying to find this gate.
I forget the planet name, it's the one near the Barkrik gate, but I found it using 3 AU probes. Try warping to each of it's 2 moons, the planet itself and dropping probes at each. If I remember correctly it's slightly offplane and the closest I ever got, with the scanner alone, was something like a 5 degree scan @ 55m k/m. Probes are a must.

does anyone have any info about this mission after the Revelations patch?
since probes have changed, both in skills and how they work, is there any updated information about this mission? i've scanned for a cosmic signature, and found nothing. maybe my skills aren't good enough yet. can you let me know what skills are needed and what probe types.
that would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you need to use the old probes (snoop), not the new exploration probes (radar/ladar/grav/magnetometric).
And they may have changed it so you only need one snoop. Otherwise, just drop 3 in the same location around the gate and you'll find the plantation.

nope, you can't drop more than one probe inside the scan range of another probe. i tried spacing out the probes, but still nothing. I'm going to try a multispectral probe to see if it picks anything up at all.

multispectral only works with the ladar/radar/grav/mag probes--in other words, it is a waste to use, at least for finding the plantation.
Use the SNOOP/FERRET/etc probes. These will locate the gate.

Update: I have submitted a petition. GM, who replied, confirmed the problem and reset the mission for me. I have also submitted a bug report. Therefore I would recommend not to take this mission until it has been fixed.

I'm currently looking/scanning for the Plantation for a Corpmate. I used
snoop probes on every planet in the System. No results. :(
Is it possible you can't scan acceleration gates anymore? Any advice is
welcome.

It's not a bug and it's possible to gate, although it takes a lot longer ( about 15-20 scans). GM simply don't know.

now either theres a GM hanging around atm, or he left the ship next to the gate so we can find it... brb to tell more

I have and it was from a BM from another player. I've since sent the BM on to another player.
I spent the better part of 5 days attempting to scan that darn thing down with all the different probe types and never go a single hit. I think something is majorly borked.

I warped to the star and did a directional scan on which I found 'Rekker's cruiser wreck", so someone just did the plex.
Then I dropped a RADAR quest probe at three of the inner planets around the star, scanned for wreckage, ships and cosmic signatures and got a hit to the site at the first scan with 0 meters accuracy, on a QUEST probe!
Now I'll go find me the hacker ID slice :)

Ok,
Go to the Joint Harvesting refinery station (2 of 3 in system)
Do a system scan for cosmic signatures.
