If you're reading this post then it's probably because the slogan has touched something inside. If you're only in the game to make ISK then you may as well close this page and look elsewhere, but if you decide to read on then it's because youÆre looking for something different. You're looking for a group of people who will make this game worth playing... and if that's what matters to you most then Karwal (KAWA) is the right corporation for you.
First off, lets put any doubts that you may have aside. We're not a bunch of ne'er-do-wells or bumblers! We operate in low-sec Derelik, space that carries its risks and is NOT for the faint-hearted, but if you're smart then there's no reason not to do well down here.
At the moment we run 3 POSes, produce Titanium Carbides, along with a wide variety of Tech 2 ships and equipment (and pretty much everything Tech 1!) and we just recently joined the local alliance - Assembly of Ancients.
Mining, production, research, combat (PvP and NPC ratting), complexes, missions, you name it, we do it! Most of us have been in this game 12 months+ and we're pretty experienced at what we do! We're progressive, constantly striving to achieve new goals, seeking new ways to grow as a corp.
So what kind of player are we looking for?
Without wanting to seem fussy we want to attract players of a particular mindset. You need to have a sense of humour to join this corp. - once you're in, I guarantee you good-natured banter (just don't try to out-funny Cecil Montague... he tends to sulk if you do!) You need to be mature in attitude and respectful of others. And we need our recruits to understand that they are expected to operate in 0.2 space - that means pirates could attack them, war is a possibility and losing ships is all but a certainty. However, should that happen, your corpmates will get you back on your feet in no time!
What you don't need to be is an all-singing-all-kicking-ass 15-25mil SP EVE Veteran. You could be brand new to the game and that's fine with us! We will train you, provide (reasonably) sound advice, help you to develop and become the character you want to be. Veterans are more than welcome but shouldn't expect preferential treatment!

Great bunch of friends.. Experienced, talented pilots and supportive towards their corp mates and allies.
If you want a crash-course in the dynamics of EVE, then they are your best choice :)
As a former member I can recommend them.

A quick couple of questions:
What are your requirements re hours spent online?
Also, what hours does your corp normally have most members online etc?
I am currently suffering from the workload from hell which has taken up residence on my desk (10pm, still in office and going to be here some time!) and its likely that for the next few months I'll only be logging on 2 or 3 times a week for a couple of hours a time and then occasional Sundays.

Due to our alliance being at war at the moment, and a recent security breach, I'm sorry to say that KAWA has put a hold on recruitment for the immediate future. We are also reviewing our recruitment policy to prevent further security breaches.
