Basically for any bloackde runner you need;
cloak in high mwd, perhaps a shield booster on the prowler and hardner in med nanos in low
you have built in 2 wcs, and tbh you need the nanos for the speed of alinging, as wcs wont save you if someone really want to tackle you (bubbles, interdictor etc)

The prowler is a fine blockade runner as the previous poster said cloak in the high and for mids I use MWD prowler can go over 2km/s. and a sheild booster 2 and invulnerability 2 for lows either nanos or some more wcs. you'll need some high skills to use this ship. And try and get evasive manovers to level 5.
With that you have got a nice ship that is fast into warp nothing except an intercepter can warp faster its hard as nails and with an mwd takes seconds to get to a gate and with instas almost impossible to catch! watch out for bubble gates though

Well i personally dont use a cloak but other pilots like to have cloaks just incase they are caught in a tight spot. But this ships is very quick to warp.I know a corp m8 that used it to play a game of cat and mouse with three interceptors so it has its uses. He was not sure if the gate ahead was bubbled up so he warped to a planet and claoked so no probes can find him and ceptors could spend all day looking for him.

As for the mastadon I'm sorry I've not flown 1 yet but from what I understand its has a hell of a tank much better than a prowler but is slow to warp has cap issues with an mwd on it. Prowler agile and fast with decent tank less cargo space prowler slower and better tank and uses brut force to get through.

i want to learn transport ships too
but i dont know which race wil be better. i ever hear that the minmatar and caldari are the best.
now, i have read the posibilities from the prowler, but how good is the crane ??
and you write that the mastodon have a good tank, but how good is the from a bustard??
when someone have information, can you write it here too for the caldari transport ships ??

The mastodon, a tricky one. 1x high 3x med 5x low
depending on the use, the lows are easy. If you're in safe space: named nanofibers (inertia bonus!) or expanded cargohold. Don't use the local hull expanders, at about 30M each they are as expensive as your ship. beta's do about as well and only cost half of them. personally, i'd go for:
2x WCS, 2X beta nanofiber, 1x beta expanded
medium: definately an AB or MWD. The mastodon isn't the fastest. I recommend a 10MN AB II, it's not expensive and gives you a good boost. MWD take up to much powergrid, you'll need it for something else, namely a large shield extender II. Seriously, +2100hp on the shields is really sweet given the fact that the mastodons resistances on the shield are very high. The shields get you trough space in one piece, they should be the main focus. For the last mid, there is again some choice. You could go for a shield booster, as the mastodon has some sweet bonuses for them. or a kinetic resistance upgrade, or a invulnerability shield, or, like me...another shield extender! Reccomendation:
10NM AB II, large shield extender II, medium shield extender II. (I don't know it it's possible to fit two large ones, that would give you some serious shielding)
Highslot: some people fit a cloak in there, haven't tried that yet. other options are: tractor beam, nos, smartbomb.
In low-sec (0.3-0.4) it might be fun to drop the large shield extender and go for a large smartbomb to kill some noob pirates.
Any toughts on this?

I was able to squize in a second large shield extender II . +10.000HP on the shields. You will need some power diagnostics to get the needed powergrid. Or one of those techII powergrid upgrades that gives you +15%, but you'll need engineering upgrades rank 5 for that, which is about two weeks of training extra. Power diagnostics are more usefull imo. With these kind of shield, it really doesn't matter what you put in the other lows. You don't use any cap except for the AB, which is sustainable. NOS won't have much effect. You're fast enough with the AB to get to the gate before they kan kill you, even if they web you a couple of times. Only an overkill of all three (a very good organised gatecamp ) can stop this.
