Now its been said, said again and then spammed, the Tristan is 'apparently'( not imo ) the best solo pvp frigate, but ive fought them in a kessie or breacher and won... now the incursus is pretty good imo 3 ion blasters and a medium/2 light drones does a fair bit of damage, and with a plate it can hang on nicely..
so what does everyone else use

The Rifter hands down best frig in the game. I hate my Tristan, the rifter completly owns it. I also like the incurcus and the punisher, but Tristan, bleh.

The kessie has a nasty burst damage, but the rifter is a better ship all round.
The number of times you'll go 1 vs 1 in t1 frigs is pretty low. The rifter is fast and can tackle and can lay some damage. All good.

cruise kessie was fun, and before the missile changes you could own any other fig but now its probably the rifter

Anyway, the real answer is all current T1 frigs suck at PvP, its like asking which knife is best to bring to a gun fight.

JF ganked a few BS using a swarm of em :)

If your ganking shuttles and indies then it really doesnt matter what Frig you have, as long as you you lock them down.
In that case its like asking - "Whats the best knife to kill helpless civilians with?"

Old Imicus.... 25m3 drone bay = 5 light drones or If your really patient up to 10 Heavy drones taking em out 1 at a time.
But even an old velator could kill rifters.... should have been easier now with dron upgrades etc but they nerfed both imicus and velators drone bays by 10m3
