Well after the patch i find I can nolonger play as all my text is blurred/fuzzed up and unreadable.
Seems the grapgics option to fix pixel offset is nolonger an option and makes:

A complete waste of webspace.
Would appear that the .ini file got blown away very ungracefully with this patch and seems that unless there is a fix, I'm no longer along with many other able to play the game despite having suitably specced machines well above the requirements outlined on the product and all docs.
Anybody got a fix for this as I suspect CCP will just go lalalallalaa like they do too most issues :<

I'm not sure if it works, but try adding the following line in your prefs.ini: texalign=0.58
Try different numbers from 0 to 1, probably also with a lot more digits. Good luck.

Many thanks, Tiss actualy what I did, after trying to also raise protest in game which now fixed appears to have been deleted by CCP, bless there cotton brains.
Would still luv to know what was going on in CCP's heads when they removed this. Are we expected to go onto the test server to debugs TWO sets of code at once, Having me hand full with there idea of a production program. And there DBA should be shot, They not know now to do split mirror backups and the ability to switch/repoint databases, Hell any issue sthey had should and would have been identified in there mirror test set-up if they set that up right. Though given there using Cable and witless then hardly supprising given there security is as good as a open door (SNMP, cross client accesablity via central tape backup, Mixed IOS on cisco's and a IDS that they clearly dont know how to use) Semm cable and witless a perfect partner for CCP then, prolly same director in the family chain somewere along there line.
O well seem to be sorted and skill has 3 mins left, least somebody can plan a proper downtime.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- okay i found a fix that work's for me. if you have an ATI graphics card and added the texelalign command back into your prefs.ini remove it. goto your graphics card's direct 3d settings, click compatibility settings and change alternate pixel center to disabled. for me with the texelalign command still in prefs.ini it didnt want to effect the text in the game unlike how it used to.

I have a GeForce 440 MX thanks for the previous advice I hadn't thought of that but the Nvidia has similar settings under Direct3D, More Direct3D I changed the Texel Alignment from 0 to 7 and it is fixed.

YIP, Paul FLint solution works perfectly and is a much better sure solution. BTW if you need too delete the cache folder you might want to keep the setting directory and its contents along with the usualy .ini file, it would appear that alot if not all the user settings are now stored there. Found this out by having to re-ack me mails again. This would also explain the nuking of the .ini file which with the new set up might make more sence as the .ini file used to grow alot and was worth nuking every once an a while.
