Most newbies don't know how to Block people or turn off duel requests, nor do they know how to report these duel spammers to CCP.

wow, and u cant even suicide gank that guy cause its a noob system. or can i suicide gank him and when he petitions his kill history would be taken into account?
its quite possible newer players will think dueling is something its not because of its name. Perhaps they dnt expect to have their ship completely destroyed and then their pod to be vulnerable afterwards. Not that newer players should worry about those things, but they dnt know that they shouldnt worry about those things yet lol.
dunno if dueling needs to be taken out of starter systems. but maybe CCP should look at showing noobs how to disable duel requests, or have the default setting to reject.

Default setting to reject would be the best option, allthoug I can understand the idea behind simply eliminating all PvP stuff our of Starter Systems.

Looking at just Couster it is basically a never ending scroll of people pwning newbs. Is there anyway to check and see how many duel requests are sent per system per day and compare the starter systems to the rest of eve?

I would think the tutorial would have some sort of page to mention these things ie "this button is for dueling, and this one is how to say no" "this button blocks people you dont like". Maybe it's been a while but i dont recall any of these things being shown. |

I have been arguing with people that lost their probes in the scanning tutorial because the tutorial did not mention that you have to have them return to your ship loud enough.
I doubt anything aside a big, screenfilling, red "Stop" sign will help.

I agree. It should be turned off with all the other stuff in the safety tab. It should be put together with smart bombs and all that. You can't activate the dueling until you know what you are doing.

Default to reject but after 7 days since starting it should go to default display. ON IT'S OWN.
