Hope this catches on; seems more practical (and realistic) way to sell shares. Will just need patience and regular advertising here (every time new realistic orders are added`).
Undoubtly it will have some 'trusted-individual-broker scammed me' issues, but hopefully they will be few.
Would it be possible to have history of actual transactions as well (so eventually one could draw the price graph)?

I heard Aarone mention something about price graphs and stuff, but don't know if he is going to implement it soon..
You are correct that it will give a better view on the past and present prices of shares.

OK,a quick how to guide and some question answering:
* Stocks of the Companies listed are the only ones that currently can be bought and sold- if you want your company's shares added to the roster, speak to Aaron'ne.
* To put a share (or shares) up for sale, you need to open the site ingame and click on teh 'my orders' link, from there you can submit howmany shares you want to sell, what price you want for them, and who you want to act as your broker (pick me, shameless plug I know)
* To see what shares are currently available to purchase, check out the exchange section, it has a list of available shares, what price they are and who the broker is. To buy them click the 'buy' link next to them and enter the amount of shares you wish to purchase. The site will explain exactly what you need to do from there.
* To put up a buy order for a share that isn't currently listed, or at a price that is different to what is available, again select the 'My Orders' link and follow theprompts. It will tell you everything you need to know and how to do it.
* Does the system work? Yes, I handled 3 transactions already, and so far everyone is happy (at least that's what they told me)

Image updates automagically and as u can see, the shares market is starting to prosper.
I've received another sell order today.
Bernard Marx (CEO Redstorm Rising) has put up 1000 shares to the public to be bought on the EGSE.
Share prices are 4M a piece. Get some now!!!

Remember, any new (or old) corps that wish to sell shares over the website, can contact Aaro'ne Erviale with some information about your corp, and then u will be listed on the site between some of the finest business corporations in the game...
