With a Heavy missle/shield tank Ferox setup, after reading the description on a Target painter, is it better to run a second BCU at reduced return, or is their an increase in damage to running a Target painter in this case? Ive heard that Target Painters help with damage one rail guns, soo.. does the same apply to missles?
I mainly Rat/Mission run..

Painter makes youy hit smaller targets better regardless of weapon. Theres no point in using them on bigger targets really.

There is to some extent, I used a friend in a...erm...minmatar TP / mining cruiser to 4x target paint my victims so i could hit them all with void S in my taranis  frigs versus void S = win!

According to my calculations, fitting a 2nd BCU gives a 14.12% increase in missile DPS over the already-increased DPS from the first. You'd have to calculate the percentage increase in damage to frigs that you get with a webber instead of a 2nd BCU. (And yes your missiles will do more damage to target-painted enemies.)
Of course, in a Ferox, you might not want to concentrate your heavy missiles on frigs...let drones and maybe railguns do the work. So the 2nd BCU seems like a better option.
