The Eve Intergalactic Bank is proposing a new IPO available to the general public.

If you have any questions or comments feel free to post here or contact me ingame.
The corporation will be ran by my alt Veleena, of whom I will post with following this for confirmation.
Please note that shares will not be issued until 00:00 on the 19th of April 2006 as the vote for the creation of shares has not ran its cycle yet.

ive had an eib account since this your bank first opened and have had no problem depositing money into the current account or even withdrawling every penny (which I had to do yesterday)
the ipo info looks good on your website and if accurate I think its a very good plan... there is no way of realy knowing though...
that said I reserved 30 shares yesterday and cant wait till I have them :)

i will reserve 10 shares for this ipo, however as a detail i am curious to know if we can setup accounts: ie. savings where the dividends from shares can be placed to a further profit? and if so will there be any penalty for doing so?

Eve Intergalactic Bank [E-I-B]
and
Eve Intergalactic Bank Investments [EIBI]
are seperate entities. This means that operations within the EIB in no way effect the EIBI and vice versa.
The only financial link between the two is that the EIB holds 80% of the shares for the EIBI as an investment, just as it does with other IPO's.
The EIB is a totally independant entity and thus its services will not be effected by this IPO we are backing, or indeed any future IPO we may back.
In short, yes you can have a savings account with the EIB, and yes you can pay the dividends generated from the EIBI to your savings account with no penalty.

People wishing to reserve shares have until 00:00 19th April 2006 to do so. Thats Midnight tonight.
To reserve shares for this IPO, join ingame mailing list 'EIBnewsletter' and submit your request.
Alternatively leave a post here to reserve shares.
After this time shares will be issued on a first come first served basis.
There are currently 280 shares reserved, 1720 shares remaining.
Do not wire any isk to me for these shares.
All shares purchases are to go through my alt character Veleena who I posted on this thread with earlier.
If you have requested shares to be reserved, you will be contacted to make your purchase after midnight tonight.

Everyone who has sent isk for shares should now see them in their wallet.
Could people please ensure that ISK transfers for the purchase of shares come to me 'Veleena' only as it can cause delays when sent to 'cally' if you have an account with the EIB.
Huge public responce, 94% of the available shares (940/1000) were sold within the first hour, with around 30% still reserved.
Some sort of bug on the votes system prevented me from issuing the extra 9000 shares so this was the reason why only 1000 went on sale initially.
It displayed my vote as no and thus, deemed it an unsanctionable act.
Because of this I had to propose another vote.
After proposing another vote it then allowed me to create the shares from the original vote, so if you have recieved mails regarding this just ignore them.
The corporation now has 10,000 and there will never be any more than 10,000 shares created as stated.
Round 2 of the IPO starts at 21:30 tonight. Those that have made reservations please ensure your purchases are made before then unless prior arrangements have been made.
Shares will be sold at 21:30 on a first come first served basis.

Yes the corporation has 10,000 shares of which 8,000 have been purchased by 'Eve Integalactic Bank'
2,000 have been offered to the public, of which almost 1,000 have already been purchased, with a further 300 reserved.
This means 700 are available.
As stated in the post send the isk to Veleena and the shares will be sent to you when your payment is confirmed.

those of you who have wired isk to veleena for shares have been sent them.
please check your wallets for confirmation.
Due to overwhelming demand for these shares I have decided to reset the amount of shares available for imediate purchase to whats left from the original issue.
Basically this means the number of shares reserved from the initial 2,000 shares offered will now be issued from the EIB's share of 8,000 and not from the 2,000 issued.
The number on sale for immediate purchase has increased by the number of those that had been reserved from this 2,000.
This is due to reservations that may not be honoured for upto 2 weeks and feel this is not fair for potential investors who have just been made aware of this IPO.

If you wish to make a purchase (minimum 10), simply wire isk to veleena and shares will be dispatched to you once confirmation of the reciept of funds has been made.

The IPO is running for a further 11 days, and you may purchase any amount you wish, whatever amount remains at the time you make your purchase.
We are reserving a portion of the banks shares for clients and other reservations made by the public but we may be able to put some aside for you depending on wether these are sold or not.

IPO Update :
We have now setup the majority of the blueprints at stations we have decided to operate from for production.
We have also started posting key staff to these locations in preparation for live operations.
Over the next week we will be making the delivery of all the materials needed to run a continuous production cycle for 28 days at each office.
Production will start irrespective of whether the IPO issuing has been completed or not.
Corporation Operations are due to go live on the 1st of May (1 day earlier than announced) or when all remaining shares for public purchase have been issued.

shares that are reserved will be issued from the banks share pool as we do not feel it is fair for those that wish to make an immediate purchase.
That said, 350 shares remain for immediate purchase.

I would like to buy another 78 shares on top of the 55 shares I already paid for a couple of days ago (850mil transferred to Veleena).
Payment (total: 1.17bil) will be made to Veleena once I am home again (some of us have to work this week, doh, if only I were a teacher now :) ).
P.s.: could you confirm when delivery of the 55 shares I already paid for will take place? So far I haven't seen or heard anything yet. Thank you.

Confirming that I have paid for and received a total of 120 shares.
I hereby request to buy an additional 13 shares for a grand total of 195mil ISK (just to make my total ISK involved here a round number :) ).
I will transfer the ISK to Luna Spira later today unless stated here that the transfer should be towards Veleena again.

Hi everyone. Sorry for my late responce but I didnt anticipate how difficult it has been trying to locate somewhere to log onto the internet in the part of the world im currently in (rural Turkey).
Due to the lack of technology out here im unable to log into the game in order to wire shares, and as such can only access the forums and my mailbox.
However, shares purchases should have been sent to Luna Spira, so if you have sent to me in error, I will ensure you are sent the correct amount of shares upon my return. A number of shares were placed in Callys wallet, so dont worry if you think you may have missed out.
Those of you who have applied for acccounts via our website dont worry about the time between you sending me isk and me responding, as your account live date will start from the time your isk was wired to Callys wallet. So basically, you will still recieved interest from the time you wired isk to cally and ill send you confirmation of your account upon my return to the UK.
Those of you who have wired isk to Veleena should have recieved shares as the character is accessible by the staff I mentioned in a mail sent out to those who recieve the EIB newsletter as it was tranferred to an account prior to my absence.
If there have been any problems recieving shares I will look into it upon my return to the UK and ensure all client and investor problems or enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
Finally, I have been informed by EIBI staff that operations are running smoothly and production has been underway from day one. We have currently produced over 50 battleship class ships ready for sale at our office locations, as well as numerous other lower class ships.
Our tech2 production has also begun at our head office an expect to be able to maintain continuous production for the next 2 weeks based on material stockpile.
