Im trying to run eve on this computer.
OS: Windows 2003 Server x64 (64 bit os)
RAM: 2Gb
VGA: GeForce FX5200 128Mb
It minimizes before entering the login screen... any suggestion?

Windows 2003 is designed as a Server Environment it is the upgrade route from Windows 2000 Server, not a progression from Windows XP (Win 2K3 is version 5.2, Win XP is 5.1). Because it is designed as a server environment it setup to work in a higher security mode thus many of the functions for DirectX are disabled or locked down.
There are instructions here which explain how to convert from a "Server" environment to a "Workstation" environment.
I do however warn that if you are doing this on a computer that is operated as a server (i.e. a work server) then you could very well reduce security by a large factor or even break other server applications... so do it at your own risk.

Uhhh I can run eve fine on my 2003 enterprise server, didn't have to do any changes to directx or gfx acceleration...
Altho I do not run 64-bit windows.
OS: 2003 Enterprise
CPU: AMD64 XP3000
RAM: 1GB
GPU: GF4 440MX 64mb wheee

Interesting, if you read through the linked article on MSFN it shows that most of the accelaration features are disabled on a default Windows 2003 install? did you possibly install from a nLite'd CD or similar that had these settings pre-configured.
They are disabled because for the most part they are not required (and could potentialy provide an avenue of attack). Windows 2003 is basicly Windows XP with some server tools added and the environment tweaked to perform better as a server.

@OP, you need to force EVE to run in 32bit mode, otherwise it'll crash, or simply refuse to run. I had no problems running it on my 2k3 enterprise server (just like Chibby).
