What do i do with the rp's just leave them to tick up or do i have to enter them into the lottery or what .. i dont understand ... do i just leave it trainning up ...?

what happens ... >? does it say ,mision completed ... or research done after a certain amount of time ..? do i get standings ?

You'll get an email from the R&D agent asking you to come visit them... and then you get given a bpo

noob to RnD question.......
What sort of skills does RnD require? Science?

R&D requires a research field skill (show info an agent for a list of them, and there's on on the forums) trained at least to the level of your agent. That skill needs Science V and typically either Engineering V, Mechanic V, or Electronics V.
You also need fairly impressive standings with the corp, or decent standings with the corp and fairly impressive faction standings. This requirement is also seen if your show info any R&D agent.

soon as you start the RP/day process that's it. You're done. This is what CCP is going to change in the future, because there is absolutely no interaction or interest in this profession since all you do is look a numbers increase each day. They did throw in a "mission" to run each day for that agent to earn 1 day's worth of RP's but seriously, no one cares for those missions since it still is a lottery....
Let us hope CCP is doing something and something soon and interesting, otherwise I'll just sell off my alt that currently has 6 R&D agents brewing.

I hope they dont require mee to visit my agents everyday. Right now I have Minm agents in Amar sapce - if I ever win the lotto with one of them Ill have to go visit him in a pod.

so what type of bpo's am i gonna get .. douing ,mech engineering level one agent ... r nd .. and how much rps will i need roughly any idea .. ?

It's random based on the field you choose(IE: specialize in graviton you'll get cloaks) However IF you get anything, just be happy. Lots of people have rotten luck.
Equate it with a lottery. I have 3000 tickets(rps) versus your 200,000 tickets(rps), obviously you have a better chance of winning then I.
But the chances are slim. There are hundreds of players with hundreds of thousands of RPs out there.

Bearing in mind that all this is going to change soon:
To see what BPOs an agent may award to you, show info on him. There's a list of predictable results for each research field. Research fields with no predictable results seem to be "out of BPOs" for the time being, so unless new ones are seeded it's probably pointless to research them.
If you start a conversation with an agent (even just to close the dialog again where the only option is to quit research with him), he gets "activated" and will send you an eve-mail (maybe 24h later) for a research mission, which is either courier or trade.
Doing these gives additional RP (about the same as you get automatically per day), so you can double your RP/day, but the trade missions can be sort of expensive and there may not be a point in investing some 100k to 5M per day just for additional RP.
The higher your research field skill, the more RP you get (either per day or per extra mission).
To use more than one RD agent, see "Research Project Management" skill.
