I have a idea for a almost Invincible BPO transport ship, please keep reading
It would have 0 M3 cargo space and just be able to transport bpo's and in Only low sec space.
It would be immune to EW etc. and have 99.99 resist to all shield or armor.
It would be used by alliance to transport massively expensive bpo's
It would be able to travel fast and cost a fortune, 1 billion isk etc.
I even have a small story line to go along with it so it wouold fit well in eve:
Since the horrific financial losses incured by both the Caldari and Galante in the last great war where 7 Titan Bpo's were lost in total by both sides casuing a massive galactic depression, All 4 factions have decided to grant diplomatic immunity and a ceasfire to any Achilles class ships.
Achilles class ships- My idea for their name, Greek mythology of a almost invincible person.

You mean Polaris frigate?
If it cant be killed then its an exploit or GM in Polaris.
What fun would it be?

Well it cant do any damage and it would have 0 slots like a freightor,
What fun would it be for you if you lost lets say 10 billion isk of bpo's?

No fun at all! I agree, but then I dont transport BPOs in anything but either heavily tanked battleship in Empire, so I can survive for at least few minutes a massive gank or, when I venture to Low Sec/No Sec, I take Blueprint copies.
But If I had an invincible ship, liek Polaris, what stops me from joining some major alliance and becoming a perfect scout? A Perfect spy who would also kill the moral of the enemy because they cant even put a dent to my ship?

There are already ships like that, only better. You need to have an alt join ISD to get access to those

worst idea ever, besides, there already is an almost invincible BPO transport ship... it's called a covert ops frigate...

but the risk v reward we here so much about is missing. One of the reasons we dont have ships like this is to give an elment of risk to moving BPO's about.
People pop unarmed shuttles because they just might have BPO's inside. If you want to move expencive BPO's about use covert ops or have massive firepower escorting you. Personally if I had a Titan BPO to move I would be surronded by an entire fleet when I moved :D

Exactly, what I am saying, a Polaris frigate. But you dont see ISD spying or working on behalf of any alliance, they are there to observe. And Polaris are designed to be invincible, you would need 10 Apocs fitted with smart bombs blast for 3 hrs to make even a small dent.

Someone got killed with 500mil of BPO's in ashuttle whilst afk autopiloting through contested 0.0, didn't they?
Invincible ships are not good for eve, mkay.

Use a carrier, setup small gun pos's in the route, cover the jump from high sec to low sec, insta from the first gate in low sec to the station, dock. Xfer the bpo to the carrier pilot, undock, activate cyno at the pos, jump, recharge, activate cyno at next pos, jump, refule, all the way home. Your 99% safe.
