The Major	Posted - 2006.04.18 16:23:00 - [1] ===== About ISS Providence ===== ISS Providence site The ISS Providence project is located in the sunny region of Providence (in t'south near Tash Murkon). From the business plan: "The twin outposts will be an Amarr Factory Outpost and a Gallente Administrative Outpost. These two types of outposts are the most fitting to support a long term population increase in the region as they are ideal to support the processing of moon minerals - the one area in which Providence is as rich as other regions in Eve." Providence differs from the other two ISS projects in that it is TWO Outposts not one. As such the shares were issued at a cost double that of the other IPOs but with the same total number available. In addition as one of these Outposts is going to be a factory rental fees from factory slots will be counted towards the dividends paid to shareholders. This plus the fact that these will represent the only stations in the entire region will create something of a monopoly on trade within this area of space. Proximity to the ISS Marginis project will also boost traffic as well as the area being populated by many neutral friendly alliances. Construction is estimated to be complete by the start of May (so under 2 weeks) so you will still be in time to claim the first dividend which includes the money raised by the auctioning of office slots. ===== The Auction ===== This auction is for a block of 10 (TEN) ISS Providence shares initially valued at 20million isk each and recently sold for between 38 and 40million isk each. This block of shares will not be split. The winner of the auction will be contacted by myself within 24 hours of the auctions end time. If they do not respond within 24 hours of being contacted via Eve Mail I reserve the right to sell to the next highest bidder. Bidding with alts is welcomed and encouraged if you prefer to remain anonymous. Exchange of the shares can be handeled by an ISS representative for free or a NAGA representative for a price (paid by the winner). Start Price: 30million EACH (300 million total) Bid Increments: 2 million isk per share (So 20 million isk total) Reserve: No Reserve Sniper: No Sniper BuyOut: 60million EACH (600 million total) Auction Ends: Friday the 21st of April 2006 @ 21:00 Eve Time. What is the estimated payout amount/frequency? I think you mean 30 mill per share not 300 as that's how your numbers work out. But anyway Dividends are paid on the first of every month and the payouts consist of every single isk in the holding corporations wallet. This includes every isk made by both outposts through docking fees (a very large portion of the money comes from these), sales tax, factory rental, office rental, and lab rental. All ISS POS deals that occur internally are mediated by an Outposts market rather than being direct trade so you will benefit directly from whatever starbases are being operated in the area even if you do not have one yourself. Borealis started out paying arond 650k per share and as this is a dual outpost in a better location with no other competition for trade (there being no stations in Providence) I can conservitively assume this value will at least double. Marginis which is in Catch was bringing in far more per month than Borealis (as it has been running longer) so the Dividend amount will actually grow over time. Even if we assume 1.2mill per month for the life of the project (It WILL go up and is far more likely to start much higher than either previous outpost as it is a trade/factory combo) then you will have paid off your investment in 2 years. Not counting resale of shares. If you resell at the value you purchased at the dividends are pure profit and in all liklihood you will resell at a greater value as ISS show no signs of stopping with BoB handing over the TRUST outpost to them and a second outpost for the Marginis project has already been given the go ahead. I'd hold onto these alot longer (and Indeed I currently own more shares than this) but I'm ready for cap ship skills right now and don't want to delay that training anymore than I have to.
