This is a press release on behalf of Krysalis Industries
Today, Krysalis Industries [CYLIS] announced the completion of a deal with the Jovian pharmaceutical firm X-Sense [XSN] that sees the two corporations entering into a mutually beneficial arrangement. Henceforth, [CYLIS] has agreed to the extended rental of a large network of offices and administrtion units at [XSN]'s chemical refinery in the Osmeden system. This location will now function as our corporate headquarters. Included within this deal has been the granting of a licence from the Jovian corporation for the full use of it's research facilities, industrial machinery and several vast hangars for a reduced fee .
The X-Sense Chemical Refinery in Osmeden
In return for this, [CYLIS] has entered into a corporate partnership with [XSN] which will see [CYLIS] invest capital within the struggling Jove firm, which has suffered since the illegalisation of neural boosters, with a proportion of [CYLIS]'s profits being paid to [XSN] each month, as well as a set proportion of all refining operations and commercial profits.
It is rare that a Jovian corporation would enter into such an agreement with a non-Jove organisation and we have had no direct contact with anyone of a discernible Jovian ancestry, the deal being brokered with a woman of Minmatar origin named Olbran Arneka. We are led to believe however that the agreement has come directly from the [XSN] leadership in the depths of Jove space.
We believe that our partnership with [XSN] will be extremely profitable, the Jove are the undisputed masters of technological innovation and we can only hope to learn from their vast knowledge. Krysalis hopes this move will send the message to the galaxy once and for all that we are non-partisan neutral organisation working for the good of the greater economy.

I highly doubt a small Pod Pilot corporation can in any way save a Jovian Corporation in any way or form, as if it needed it. _____________________________________

Indeed, I'd be interested to hear any official words from X-Sense, concerning this huge development in terms of cooperation with Jovians. Also, why XSN is relying on a small pod-pilot corperation instead of one of the more established Empire corporations that could provide billions of ISK in capital is odd, to say the least.
I'd also be interested to know why more information about this hasn't been circulated, the last time a Jovian showed up there was huge interest, even when he was spread across half the cluster.
Again, any word from XSN to confirm whether this deal is true or not would be appreciated.

It seems to me that X-Sense understands the innate benefits that come with smaller scale operations. Innovation, which is clearly the Jovians universal interest, is generally not guaranteed with mass capital but with smaller scale ingenuity.
Best of luck to Krysalis Industries.

As previously pointed out, this is a localised deal, centred around a singular refinery in the Osmeden system, we have had no contact with anyone of Jovian descent, simply contact with a representative.
You might be right to call this deal 'suspicious' Nik, I have to admit this is all very mysterious to me. We share your concerns about why a technologically advanced corporation has brokered a deal with an organisation such as ours, it seems not to make much sense, but we are not so naive as to refuse such generosity because we do not know it's justfication.
Just to keep things in perspective, our operations take up approximately 2.896% of the entire space of this station, while still a vast area, it's is a minute fraction of the total and large swathes of the station are off limits to us.
Perhaps there are ulterior motives at work, time will tell. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

You are welcome Mr Vendrin.
As of yet the exact benefit to [XSN] is unclear for I am sure our profits, while substantial, are a drop in the ocean compared to this vast corporation's. However, perhaps our neutrality is our blessing, Mr Vankaalen's query as to why an empire corporation was not offered the deal in our place seems to be quite obvious. The Jove have very little interest in becoming involved in the intergalactic squabble and a partisan organisation would present such problems.
I can only assume we have done something that has been taken notice of, if we are to be pawns in a greater game, so be it. Manipulation could come from much less agreeable sources than the Jove.
We can only suppose as to the reasoning behind the move, it is clear that XSN has suffered since boosters were made illegal, yet there is already a backlash to this and smuggling is becoming more rampant, and profitable.
As I said, time will tell. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
