I hate to say it, but I think this patch needs to be rolled back until the multiple serious issues with it are addressed. At least the game was playable before. Whether or not it's even worth playing now is debateable.
I'm not saying undo the changes and throw them away. I'm saying roll back to the previous build until MUCH more testing and fixing is done on this patch. I know we all want new features, but quite honestly, most of the new features people wanted weren't in this patch anyway.
So PLEASE, roll this back and fix it!

My prefs were erased and the new ones won't save. I've tried clearing cache and that didn't help.

Module stacking nerfing sucks donkey balls.
But I know the real argument behind that.
They will keep nerfing things beyond any recognition like in DAoC making new setups super overpowered.
So people will have to spend game time (read: pay time) to get the new items, classes and so on.
E.g.: Right now agents got a lot of love and the pirate faction needs some high level agents for security rating fixes anyway...
It's like in DAoC: Nerf archer classes, nerf stealthers, introduce Bone Dancers, keep developers favourite char (Enchanter) overpowered.
At least DAoC is stable and compared to EVE almost "bug free". Maybe that's why so many DAoC guilds are back to DAoC again.

doing a ctd will save it... i.e. im closing down my window instead of quitting the game.
Also i dont think we should roll back, i would prefer a minor patch tomoz fixing some of the probs.

Besides lag there is nothing wrong with it. They just didn't add any new big content. Which is kinda dissapointing.  Also I think roll backs are for serious issues not just minor hicups.

I want a rollback!
GUI looks horrible.
Module Icons are gimped.
Channels are laggy, resizing them is a nightmare, minimizing them is, at best, certifiable.
Preferences aren't saving.
Corporation member hangars are messed up.
The Recycle screen keeps bouncing back to the top which means you have to scroll through 150 items to recycle than x-ray M laser crystal.
The anticipated results of nerfing dmg mods to make people not choose the "uber setup" have been thrown completely into touch by tachyons incredible imbalance.
Shield hardeners are now more useless than Energy Neutralizer 1's.
Corporation Info member list does not alphabetise.
Corporation Info Window will not resize.
The local list is LAGGY.
Character Info screen is a mess - the picture is not centred, corporation standings takes 10 seconds to load (if it loads at all)
Text in general is much too large in all the wrong places.
Advanced Market still doesn't work.
The list goes on.
Did I mention that weapons are HORRIBLY imbalanced?
Did the bloody gimps on Chaos not realise any of this ****?

I also forgot to mention that you can STILL insta-spawn but, if you're insta-spawning pirates that use missiles, make sure you have tac shields.....................oh.

Well why not get your own self on chaos, test the stuff before it rolls out so you can post your passionate thoughts about it BEFORE it ends up released. I don't think I've ever seen chaos with over 50 people on it at once unless tranq was down for its maint.

IAM NOT NORMALY THE ONE TO SCREAM ROLL BACK BUT IN THIS CASE I WILL MAKE A EXCEPTION, ROLL BACK THIS CRAP AND LET US GET ON WTIH PLAYING. STOP CHANGING THE CORE OF THE GAME WITH EVERY PATCH, YOU GO FROM ONE EXTREME TO ANOTHER AND ITS GETTING ON MY NERVES.

Because I'm a paying customer... The only reason to use Chaos is: 1. You are a very nice, helpful chap who likes to spend time helping a corporation with their product. 2. You want/need advance info on what is coming in the next patch for strateigic and/or business reasons.
There is inadequate incentive at this time for each individual to play Chaos. If doing it allowed us to keep what we earned while I was there, I would. If my TQ account was paid an hourly rate while I was on Choas, I would. If I saved some/all my monthly subscription cost I would. Etc, etc, etc.

I see nothing wrong with this patch. My general settings were reset (about 5 seconds to fix). My buddy list dissapeared (came back about 1/2 hour after staying online. The e-mail window is kind of annoying now, but as long as you opening it up a little bigger, it's actually pretty cool.
