Betty Blue	Posted - 2006.04.19 10:58:00 - [1] We are up against a skilled enemy wich use this tactic: - HACs and recon ships and of course interceptors is there main ships (sometimes with a BS in gang). All well T2 equipped. - Gang size 5-10 ships, using hit and run tactics - Using short range/medium range guns/missiles and drones - Often use cloaked ships staying in system scouting = hard to surprise - Not to heavy on ECM (not using any specialized ECM ships but do use recon ships for sensor damp and other EW and other ships might have a single ECM or so) - Enemy is more skilled (both in SP and pvp experience) and better equipped than we are One counter tactic I am thinking of is to use long range hit and run tactics (ie Burn Eden tactics). Fit heavy hitting long range weapons, Sensor boosters for quick locking/extended locking range. Force will all target one ship, quick gank and warp out as soon as enemy closes in on you. And cough fit wcs so you can get away. Also have some EW ship sensor damp/jam their main EW ship (especially if we suspect it to have sensor dampeners). So far we have taken heavy losses and lost quite a few BS so we need to find a better strategy. Blobing does not work since they will not engage when we have a large fleet coming after them.

wierchas noobhunter	Posted - 2006.04.19 11:08:00 - [5] oki here some more advanced tactic 1 cover ops to monitore situation gang of fats cruiser with mwd ( rac ,stabber can do that best) fited with hight damage weopms/ wmd / meybe duals webs other scramblers/ ecm / dampers jum on enemy take out there intys ( this will heave ****of them) jump out, cos u using wcs any ship who have targeted can jump out fast jump out then jump back ant try to take out bs ( try find gang setuped bs , mega with 425mm rails/ apoc and armas with taichons) repeat till enemy will loss alot of ships wierchas 4tw

However they would not engage a large gang (which might be required). However killing a T2 ship with some cheap ships is very rewarding lol How many ships would you use against a gang of let say 3 HACs, 1 Force recon and 1-2 Interceptors? Frigates or cruisers or maybe a mix?

Frigates or cruisers or maybe a mix? depends on situation at least 6 cruisers frigs just wil not have firepower just select target all fire all on him what u have then warp away wierchas 4tw
