I use the scanner and find all sorts of cool things on it all the time. I would like to pick them up, you know, ôtidy up the solar system.ö As soon as my scanner does less then 30 degree angle I loose everything. And how do I warp a specific distance? Say, to those 4 tech II drones I have seen for the last week? I read the scanner thread but it only helps a little. Any more info?

The drones you are looking for (I avoided the obvious star wars quote) are probably not inbetween you and a warpable object thus they are difficult to locate by narrowing your scanner field of view. Basically you'll have to guess using small increments until they appear in a narrow focus scan. I'd first play with range setting to find out how far away they are, because the chances are they are in a safespot which will be difficult to bust and will involve MWDing in the correct direction from a BM you've landed as close as possible.

Unfortunately you can't use scanner probes to pick up the signal of a drone.

He is trying to get you to warp onto a pos. Pos typically shoot anyone who isn't blue.
