6 weeks ago I was happily mining Plagioclase in my Covetor. Round about the time of the Rubicon upgrade there was no more around. I raised a question about asteroid spawning and got some responses. I've just come back to EVE after a month away and there's still none around. Tonight I wandered around twenty .7/.8/.9 systems all around Dodixie and visited several belts in each one. There were tonnes of every other sort of mineral but not a gramme of Plagioclase.
Did they forget to shovel it into the new universe?

The plagio has been mined already in your area.
Go out and away from any major system.

Depends on your time zone, the roids respawn at downtime 11:00-11:30 Eve time. I can still find roids to mine 9 or 10 hours later with no problems if I fancy mining. Move 8 jumps out from any major trade or mission hub and you'll find untouched belts in nice quiet 0.5 to 0.7 systems. |

.9 systems wouldn't have plagio in them. It's found (in Gallente space) in 0.8 and below. Could have been a mining fleet cherry-picking a pile of systems/ |

Thanks for the replies. Similar answers to my previous question. So back then I logged on at 11.35 am GMT and there was still nothing.
If there was large scale mining activity surely they would have taken the lot, but there were hundreds of asteroids floating around in each system.
I got to around 5 jumps from Dodixie - still nothing.
According to the Asteroid Belts page in wiki, plagioclase occurs in .8/.9 level Gallente systems. Is it wrong?
I shall have one more look and then train another asteroid type and buy the appropriate crystals.

It is very likely a bot miner farmed all the plagioclase in your systems.
Log in immediately after Downtime and you should find some.
Objective sighted. Target locked. Lasers activated.
