GTC scamming, GM says its fine??????

Got the most weird responce from a gm saying in short that its not a GTC scam but an ingame scam using ingame mechanics and he cannot do anything about it I am WTF???? how the hell CCP claims protection over GTC trades? over out of game mechanincs? should i had used Yahoo to make the transaction or receive the codes over postal? I have no idea if i am allowed to post the gms reply(i think not) but the replys are hilarious, i still can't believe in my eyes If The GMs sayings are true then everybody lets start scam ppl with fake GTCs I need an official responce on that matter plz, i thought a GM is official but i see 2 different sides of CCP atm

Its the biggest flaw with the whole GTC situation imho. Scam someone for a couple of billion, sell it to a game currency dealer or on an auction site the same day, get your account banned. But you don't care, because you just earned a heck of a lot of real life money.

People arn't supposed to buy isk anyways. If we did not retract the stolen isk, it would encourage those who scam. I can assure you that we deal harshly with those who cheat and we do everything we can to assist those who fall victim to scams of this kind.

I would think they don't want the hassle so just added the amount back and left the other amount wherever it is now My journal says that the gm transfered the isks from the scammers wallet to mine If the wallet of the scammer was empty then now he must have -3.5 bils, but the staff as i know is working after serving the victim, to trace where the 3.5 bils went and take the appropriate actions. Anyway now that i have woken up and reread my petition i must admit that although i had include the words forum, auction, GTC scam, links to the auction and some info on the convo, i wasn't clear in my message and probably that confused the GM, next time i will try to include all importand information this will save the nerves and help the GMs to get the full picture Thread is closed
