Intriguing? I know. Usually I just look for an ad that sounds right, but so many of these rec ads are looking for things that I am not.
A little about me:
* I just resubbed after a long layoff. I havenGÇÖt even been out of station since I came back, and my old corp apparently kicked me for being unsubbed. They were cool people, but before I left, they were moving to null and wanted me to go if I remember right. Might no longer be a good fit.
*IGÇÖm a 14ish million SP player who plays much nooblier. I know what youGÇÖre thinking. GÇ£But Jake, how do you suck that bad? At this point you should be at least kind of competent in EVE. Did you buy this character??GÇ¥ EmbarrassinglyGǪ no.
*I donGÇÖt like feeling obligated to do things in game. A lot of times, I just like sitting in station, mindlessly looking at ships I canGÇÖt fly, while occasionally drooling on myself. I use this game to unwind. IGÇÖm a high school teacher with a second job, who is both working on certifications and graduate school. I donGÇÖt like it when the game feels like more work. Sometimes just sitting in Jita, listening to the soundtrack and typing in chat are all I want to do.
*IGÇÖve never been to null and have spent almost no time in low sec (the only times in low were when I took brief shortcuts through it on the way somewhere for missions). IGÇÖm not racist against null and low, however. I might want to check those out sometime.
*IGÇÖve not done much PVP, but so far, the results are underwhelming. I spent a little time in RvB and I even blew up a ship I wasnGÇÖt in at the time. I donGÇÖt even think he was looking at me... Still counts, sucka!
*IGÇÖve done very little mining, though IGÇÖd like to do some more. I just looked at stuff and IGÇÖm not that far from being able to get in a Covetor or something (8 days). I might do that. Freighters and Orcas donGÇÖt look too far away either. Up until now, IGÇÖve only mined for short periods in a Ferox. Guess I was the weak link on those mining parties.
*Currently skilling Cruise Missiles V (17 days left), since the last boat I got skilled up for was the stealth bomber. Maybe IGÇÖll pause CM5 to work on Indy for a bit, though.
*The majority of what IGÇÖve done have been missions. IGÇÖd like to still do them. If I remember correctly, I can do lvl 4s. I die more than I should, probably.
*I currently have a Maelstrom. IGÇÖve long wanted to get into strategic cruisers however, and eventually a Mach, perhaps.
*I donGÇÖt even know what wormholes are for in this game. I should Google it.
*I have an old, janky headset, but I probably wonGÇÖt be on TS or whatever you use until later at night.
What I want from a Corp:
*No in-game obligations, obviously.
*Well-roundedness. IGÇÖm all over the place with what I want to do in this game. IGÇÖd like it if one of my wild hairs didnGÇÖt make us a bad fit all of the sudden. I also donGÇÖt know a lot. It would be nice if you had some people that did.
*A decent amount of people. I really donGÇÖt want to sit there by myself all the time. Also, IGÇÖd like to have enough people in corp where I donGÇÖt feel bad for not participating in something like a roam or a mining op.
*Some grown-ups who are not constantly annoying.
*Not assholes. I suck. I know it. If you do manage to get me out and about, know that I can and most likely will screw something up royally. Sometimes button pushing is hard.
*Not constantly at war with tons of people. I was just accepted into Dreddit (which sounded great) and realized before I accepted the invitiation that IGÇÖm not really ready to get molested every time I undock from a trade hub. I need to ease back into this.
What I bring to a corp:
*A warm body.
*A face in the chat box.
*Someone who is not a total douche.
*Self-sufficiency. I donGÇÖt need ships or parts or ISK. IGÇÖm a big boy with a job. If I canGÇÖt get it through skill, IGÇÖll plex it or something. If you want to give me free stuff, I wonGÇÖt turn it down, however. The only thing I ever ask for is information. Ex: GÇ£Hey anyone have a good Mael fit?GÇ¥ I can find that stuff online, but sometimes I like to hear from people firsthand.
*Sometimes laughs.
*Your corp will be larger, and therefore more intimidating to some people.
Pretty attractive, no? If this all seems acceptable, post or message me your rec channel or whatever so we can shoot the ****. IGÇÖd like to take this kinda slow and try and find a good fit. It sucks joining a corp and regretting it the next day.

Hey mate!

Hi. We are an easy going small bunch looking to grow a little bigger Our industrial side of things needs growing as we are a couple of days away from moving to 0.0 where we will have access to 5 systems with a couple of stations and high end ores of course. The ratting down there should be good as they are 0.3 or better systems with good belts from what I can see. See if this interests you.

Hey,
If your interesting in a C5/C3 wormhole we would like to have a chat. were all ex 0.0 players who got bored of all the null drama and blues.
Currently were a PVP focused corp but will run our c5 sites to fund the PVP. Were very laid back and play to have fun, we also pvp for fun and not for having the best KB.
The c3 static that we have allows for easy access back to LS and HS when needed. You can also solo run the c3 sites for extra isk if need.
