Heya guys,
I have two screens hooked up to my main system at the moment and I'd love to fully use them in Eve. The 21" I have would be used for the main screen but the smaller LCD I'd love to have loaded up with other windows like chat, trade windows, the map etc. Only problem I can see with this is that the monitors are running different resolutions. There a real solution for this or is eve just not happy with multiple monitors?

You could run EVE windowed... but your ship would be in the center of the two monitors. You can't multimonitor the chat/etc windows off

as said, you can make it so it crosses both screens, but it sucks, because as said... your ship and the center of your HUD is in the middle.
I think it'd be awsome to be able to split it such that you could have a very minimalist hud with lots of open visibility space on one side and chat windows on the other.
but I don't see it happening any time in the near future.

no more expensive then a 2nd high end video card you would need to do dual screens on one video card, and a single screen on the 2nd video card.
Best way is to use one Video card for your center screen, and the second video card to output to dual monitors(left and right Monitor).

i use 2400x760 resolution or something like that, on dual screen, so the center is actually at 2/3 of the left screen, and i put the windows on the remaining part, on the right one
looks ok =) -

That matrox gadget looks cool, but it's maximum resolution per monitor is only 1280x1024.
I have a triple set of identincal 1600x1200 monitors I wish they would support, I would definantly buy one of those if it supported them. 4800x1600 monitor wiould be freaking awesome.

Interesting little box but thats a bit overkill imho. Many new vid cards these days have dual output. It would just be nice to see some support built in for that. Not sure if CCP could make it happen or if it would be a nightmare to make it work. I have a corner desk so if it could work out I'd eventually get 3 monitors setup. Main screen for combat then wing market on one side and chat on the other. :)

i guess it's more an engine thing than a designer thing?
do they buy their engine or is it home made?
it could even be driver-drived and be supported without having anything to code? -
