The Meaning

gestalt - ôA physical, biological, psychological, or symbolic configuration or pattern of elements so unified as a whole that its properties cannot be derived from a simple summation of its parts.ö
This feeling of unity and co-operation is one we strive for and achieve daily. The members of Gestalt have created a growing organization that provides a friendly, welcoming environment in the world of Eve.
Every member of Gestalt forms a vital part of the multi-faceted whole. Working together we better ourselves and each other to enhance our lives in the pod.
Gestalt is also a founding member of the Cairdeas Alliance. An alliance built on the same principles that Gestalt finds so attractive in its own corporation. An amazing group of people that work together to benefit every member of our extended family and enhance the eve universe.
The Process
-----------------------
Upon successful application to Gestalt Corp, members are encouraged to apply to a division within Gestalt, allowing for easier access to experienced help, items, and scheduling times in their desired tasks. Divisions are of course, malleable, and a member may find him/herself in multiple divisions.
Gestalts Logisticss, the divisions û
-----------------------
 Excavation Endeavors û Responsible for the continued supply of raw materials for the production lines put forth by the Manufacturing / Research division, and trade materials. The Mining / Industry division is one of Gestalts primary focuses and application is done externally for these positions. Also responsible for the sustainment and supply of Gestalts Player Owned Stations.
Think Tank û Chosen from among Gestalts existing membership to provide the Tier 1 and Tier 2 goods required to fuel a corporation, membership to the Manufacturing / R&D Division is completely internal, and those wishing to apply to this division must first prove themselves in another of Gestalts areas.
The Shield. - Gestalts combat core is comprised of those who put their pods on the line for the defense of the corporationÆs assets and interests; defending mining operations and trade convoys, patrolling GestaltÆs flight routes, and engaging in Alliance operations to protect our space.

I'm pretty new to the game (about 2 weeks, but I have a paid account, not a trial account), but I'm still interested in joining your corporation.
