Haven't U guys notice there R many rookie ship hanging around near stations and deadspaces? What happened to those pilots? Did they jump to the space to kill themselves? Kidnapped by aliens? I tried to board some of these ships and found stuffs of all kinds like: stones & rocks; skills books not trained yet; documents from certain agents...etc.

Maybe they podjumped? (Eject from ship, self destruct pod, end up wherever you put your clone--doesn't work well if you have implants or an expensive clone)

Did that name really go trough the sensorship? Makes me sad

^_^ i fly around systems in a shuttle....self destructing the n00d ships...great pretty explosion.

If you lose the ship you are flying and dock your pod at a station where you don't have any ships then you automatically get a starter frigate of your race. Since all you can do with one of the starter ships when you are done with them is destroy it (you can't reprocess them and no one would buy one) some people just fly them to their home stations and eject, leaving the ship outside. Keeps their hanger from filling up.
